Used this to replace an expensive Virgin internet subscription now that my area has 5G. Very easy to set up, works well to replace my cable connection with a couple of minor issues. Mostly getting a 60MB download speed. Occasionally fell back to 4G until I got a 5G antenna which seems more stable (probably depends on 5G coverage). As this is a battery device it needs to be charged, but should not be on charge all the time, so I have it on a timer to charge up then use.

I’m having trouble with the Smarty Sim in this location. It’s meant to be good here, but is awful, so without a good signal strength I could’t give it a fair performance reviewHowever, I’d like to add that an app would be very helpful, as logging into it online, frequently, to see the battery state, or number of bars of reception, is a bore. Also for each position a different setting for ‘standard’, ‘close by’ and ‘through the wall’ needs to be set - also 2.4 or 5 Ghz choices need to be set - a manual is essential, but not available on their website - still awaiting ZTE to respond after 5 days.Also, trying to establish settings for use overseas with that Sim is not straightforward, and now I’m worried I might have done something to restrict its use abroad or here at home.Good news is that after switching to Vodafone, It is really good all over the house, but an app and User Manual should be supplied too.Update Dec’22: No new software updates from ZTE, copyright still not including 2022, appears neglected. But I works well everywhere and we still use it at home and away.

Got item to act as a back up hub in my home office to use with a spare SIM card I had. Unfortunately, the hub itself was very temperamental in terms of connecting and the SIM card slot kept popping open during use thus cutting connection....poor design...

Battery lasted only about 4.5 hours ( which is very poor, in my opinion.) When the hotspot was turned off it would take about 2 hours to charge.Our network was 3, but it was ok in Bedfordshire. Obviously, when they were working on their masts the signal was occasionally non existent.The actual product is compact in size and the 2 year guarantee is useful to have.Had to return because of the battery.

The media could not be loaded. Basically cool, but DON'T TRY nano simcard, only with adapter or real MICRO SIM and don't try to put in sideway as the user manula shows! Do it as me in ny video I am showing and it will be cool, otherwise you can suffer it out from deep inside with micro tweezer. Wifi ok, but I miss tha option to change wifi name and password, max password allowed.I am using in my car with alexa. Works fine but my 5G router was better of course... But the price value is great!

I went to my caravan with the portable wifi and my amazon fire stick the WiFi on site is absolute rubbish but this WiFi worked my firestick tremendously watched footy all weekend highly recommend

Battery life is very poor need to have it charging constantly. Also have had to reset on numerous occasions. Would not recommend this product.
