MCG Textiles Huggables Animal Ladybug Pillow Latch Hook Kit

I saw adorable stuffed animal latch hook kits . So I thought I would try something easy first . I looked at this ladybug , and it seemed like the perfect start to give me an idea on what to do . This ladybug does not come with a bottom fabric piece . You need to buy material , not included with this kit . You also need to buy stuffing , not included . The lady bug ears are not cut out for you . You get two blocks of black felt ? No wire or bendable craft stems . Does not come with latch hook , sewing needle , or thread . I'm still determined to get this lady bug done .But , umm , I wouldn't quite call this a " kit " . It is very cute ! But , realize there is more to buy to get this finished.

No markings on the canvas make this an IMPOSSIBLE project. How are you suppose to know where the different colors are placed to end with the picture on the box. States EASY should say impossible

Bought this for my granddaughter's birthday. She loves it and it puts me in the mind of her own smiling face. She also loves ladybugs. The only drawback that might happen is the difficulty in working with an unstamped pattern. She's never worked a rug kit w/o it being stamped, so a young person may need assistance. There's NO tool to work the rug yarn into the mesh fabric even though it's described as a kit. BUT, that gave me the opportunity to buy my favorite, Susan Bates product. It's a great project for winter weather, rainy days, staying home recuperating from surgery or just plain having fun anytime. I also appreciate craft items that are serviceable when completed. My granddaughter is wheelchair afflicted and loves to work with her hands and this is a wonderful past time for her.

This is an adorable latch hook pillow, and I imagine that when and if I get around to making it, it will be wonderful. However, the reason I bought a kit in the first place is because I'm really clumsy when it comes to crafting. I'm sure that this is the advertised "quick and easy" for the more talented crafters among us, but as a less talented person, I would have appreciated a pre-purchase warning to let me know that I will need basic sewing skills, and more likely a sewing machine, to get this made in a presentable way. Still, I think it will be fun and all of the advertised components are included.

My granddaughter love ladybugs, so I know she will love it.

This is an exceptionally good quality product at an absolutely fantastic price and so easy to make together with children/grandchildren. Really adorable.

I didn't know this was a counted Xstitch, and assumed the whole pillow was included, there is no backing...
