Plugged in (fit perfectly) and worked out of the box
Works as advertised. Some reviewers said it didn't fit in standard 4-pin socket (but it did).There are two color temperature versions of this product. If you believe the research, blue light at bedtime will "mess with" your sleep. I bought the soft white versions (not the blueish daylight one) for this reason. It is perfectly bright for reading in bed and the "softer" white actually looks nicer (to me) than the glaring big-box overhead blue fluorescents do.

Always consistent in quality.
I bought a package of two. Perfect replacement for my desk lamp. Just the right color illumination almost like natural light. However, I went to my desk in the AM and found the glass tubes hanging down (looking south). The glue had become undone from the holder. Went to the Amazon website and requested only one bulb for this reason. I was directed to the company website for their warranty info. After much back and forth, They sent out another set. And not asking for the bad one to be returned. Good customer service! Thanks

I received the light bulb in good condition however I found that the bulb must not have been the problem with my lamp as my lamp still does not work.

Nice light cast
4100k is a little harder to find, but I wanted a light that wasn't too warm and wasn't too "ultra-bright' as some of the lights over 5000k can be. These were perfect for use for task lighting in a home office.

Did not light.
Did not light. It seemed that it was not plugged in all the way or the ballast was expired. I did not learn of the ballast until after I ordered it.

Easy to install.
I bought the lamp with a broken bulb at a yard sale love the lamp glad it was so easy to find the bulb to replace the broken one.
