Very solid and strong product.
This is a very strong and solid product. It will hold most heavy studio lights without issues. You must make sure you heavy duty screws to mount it (at least 2.5” - 3” . You must also make sure you are attaching it to a 2x4 which is behind your drywall. I do not recommend using drywall anchors. The dry way will eventually break depending on the weight of your strobes. MUST BE SECURELY ATTACHED TO THE 2x4 inside your wall or ceiling.

Wears out with everyday use
Product is great except with everyday use moving and adjusting the bolt and handle to the bolt strips out. I have 5 of these in my shop being used and one almost hit a client in the head when it was tightened.

Struggles to Hold AD400 Pro at max length
I really do like this product, it gets a big light stand out of my small home studio. However, my main light is usually a Godxo AD400 Pro with a small round beauty dish-style softbox. When this boom is extended to the max length, it definitely struggles to hold it up.I have to crank the tightener so much that I feel like I'm going to break it. However, it does actually do it if I crank the handle far enough. I haven't weighed the light and softbox together, but it certainly feels less than ten pounds.I'd like to see a better tightening handle on the product, and the round joining piece should be metal as well. Thanks
