Very impressed
Having worked from home since March 2020 due to COVID I got a standing desk and changed my office space around. I was using a PC built with a Corsair Carbide 270R, not the biggest case but still takes up a fair bit of room. Now with a standing desk space was reduce a bit and it was just a pain having it there under my feet and nowhere else for it to go.So I read about the Phanteks Evolv Shift 2 Air and its very small form factor, mesh sides and apparently good cooling I decided to give it a go. The plan was to put it on a small unit next to my new desk. Many of the components I moved from the old system. All I purchased was the Cooler, Motherboard and PSU.Overall I was pleasantly surprised at just how easy it was to build with this case. Phanteks provide a clear, illustrated manual giving you the build order. You could do it differently but access would then be an issue and you will just be screaming at it.I decided not to go with an AIO 120mm cooler, with mesh sides I just felt it would work fine with a fairly standard fan.Overall I am pretty impressed with it. I would not purchase the case with glass sides, heat build-up would be too much in such a small enclosure. Under to pop up top cover, there is plenty of room to plug all your cables in without any issues. With the GPU blowing straight out through the mesh on one side, the CPU blowing straight through the mesh on the other side it is a good setup, with far less reliance on case fans having to remove all the circulating hot air. There is room for a 120 or 140mm case fan on the bottom pulling and two 120 or 140mm fans on the rear pushing. On idle I am seeing the CPU at 40-47C and the GPU around 42C. Pretty reasonable. Under load, the CPU hits 70C max and the GPU is never higher than 70-75C. At idle the GPU fans are never on, they were often running in the old case even idling. It would probably have been better to go with a 120mm AIO for CPU cooling, I may change it at some point.Overall, a very nice case with a small footprint and good cooling. A really nice set-up if you are looking as I was to minimise the overall space taken up and increase the options on where it could be placed.

Interesting Build with Mini ITX
Making a foray into AMD Rizen with this case. I already have the Phanteks Evolv and this has the same great build quality. Still building with no real problems. Not really enough room for a push pull AIO with the orientation of the PSU in this model.
