It works, nearly all the time
When the pit is "down" in the tile, this fills in well. if trying to top off just a shallow pit, the paint may wear off again. It looks very good though... I am not afraid to use it to mend small areas,.. my tile is two toned, so it blends in quite well.

This touch up paint worked perfectly.
I used it to touch up several ceramic pasta bowls. The color matched perfectly and it has held up well in the dishwasher.
