This Hot Wire Cutter is used for cutting glass tubing through 7-1/2" OD, utilizing a specially designed power unit which delivers constant current and reproducible heat regardless of tubing size, it eliminates the uncertainties of a simple hot wire unit. Power unit delivers optimum, even cutting heat throughout the length of wire. Cutting wire carries low voltage, which is isolated and insulated from power line, thus eliminating electrical shock hazard. A foot switch (Order No. 2929601) is available to free up operator's hands.
