The first model Speed Fif ghter was missing the spring which is needed to continue building the model. The second Speed Fighter was a plastic disaster. One the tool to punch the parts out broke, and then some of the plastic parts needed to be trimmed to remove tha attaching points on the parts sheet, and would then not snap together. Needs better tools for parts removal. RS

The plastic parts are very small and difficult to join. Applying the necessary pressure to join them doesn't break them but does lead to the part being launched across the room and lost. Extra parts are limited. I got to page 22 of 110 pages of instructions when I lost a part I could not replace and gave up. Maybe if you are extremely dedicated, have fingers the size of needle nose pliers, love a difficult challenge, and know how to make plastic parts, this is the model for you.

To advanced for my nice year old nephew. I got it for him, for his birthday, because he enjoys models. The instructions were not clear enough for him to understand what went where. Even his dad couldn't figure it out. I'm sure there is someone out there that can put something like this together, but not us.

Having a great time building but some parts are beyond small. If one of the tiny plastic parts drops on the floor it is almost impossible to find. Good thing there are extra parts. It is a difficult project but very satisfying. Would not hesitate to try another.
