Decent replacement for stock Third Brake Light
EXCELLENT replacement for stock Third Brake Light. Putco has been making some great products to replace OEM under-engineered garbage. The foam seal on this baby is PLENTY thick to keep water out of your expensive F150 Cab!Updated: 08/16/2018 - The seemingly thick gasket/seal ended up just like the stock one, a thin crumbly piece of junk after just a few months. The light works great and is bright, however the amount of water that it has allowed into my cab and onto my King Ranch leather seats is just unacceptable.I'll be fixing it with some headlight butyl. If that doesn't seal it, nothing will!Update: 06/27/2019 - They obviously didn't use a UV resistant plastic when this thing was created. It has already started to deteriorate. The inside of the light is filled with water. Despite my heavy duty hand made gasket, the water now goes through the electrical connections after the housing fills up with water.... :( Updated to a 1 star review.

Didn't mount flush - garbage
As far as the light itself, it is a nice looking light and easy to install. Just take factory bulbs out and line up proper color wire clip and snap in place where the bulbs were. There are 3 factory bulbs and this only has 2 wire leads which you use the driver side wire and center wire. For the passenger side bulb, there is no lead to plug in so I just took factory bulb out and reattached the socket back into the housing. There are no directions so that's why I added this to part of the review. Now for the fitment of this light. It has a thicker foam gasket than factory, but I couldn't get the back of the lamp to sit flush against my truck. I even leaned into the light pretty hard to compress the foam as much as I could as I tightened the screws, doing so slowly and hoping not to crack the shell housing on this light. The shell seems rigid and decent quality. I am bummed that I couldn't get this to flush mount and it's only off by 1/4"-3/8" and you have to look for it to really see the gap, I just like things to look as perfect as possible. I ended up using some silicone around the gap to hopefully keep any water from entering my cab interior. I also sealed around the light and foam with a good bead prior to installing. The lights themselves; the white for cargo is awesome, very crisp bright white and lights up the bed good. The brake lights are more pink than red compared to halogen red lens, but it is bright and will catch peoples attention that brakes are on.This lamp is the most expensive one I shopped around and probably is built the best and truly plug and play, just my main gripe is not fitting flush. I've bought aftermarket LED 3rd lights before for half the cost and fitment on my last (11th gen) truck was spot on; mounted flush just as the factory one did, but it didn't have LED cargo, just the brake light. Sorry for a long review, I just try to give all the info for those looking at buying.Edit 3-25-19 Now that this light has been on my truck for close to a year I thought I'd update. I lowered my rating to 1 star since I notice yesterday that the light has 1/2" of water all the way across the inside of the housing. I don't think water is getting inside my cab roof, but probably because I slimed the heck out of the gasket with silicone before I installed. I thought I had the perimeter siliconed good as well, but I guess not based on the amount of water inside the light. I had another lamp like this on my last truck and even after 9 years without silicone around it, I never had water breach through. Very disappointing especially with the price of this.Look at the pic if you think I'm wrong about water in this thing.

Very Nice!
This looks great on my 2013 F150. It's not a super dark tint so the lights are nice an bright. There weren't any directions but it was very easy to install. Just take out two screws. Plug in two lights. The stock has 3 light connectors but you only need one in the red, and one of the whites for it to work. Love it!

Don’t Hesitate!
Didnt get the greatest picture of this but believe me everyone it is nice! It’s very bright and takes like ten minimum to install. I was worried the gasket was too thick but it works beautifully. Very happy with this order.
S**!
Can't beat it!!!
Great looking, and very bright LED's. Especially like the red LED's. Matches the brake light color perfectly. Easy install especially after I figured out that you just plug the plugs into the existing bulb sockets. Truly a "Plug and Play". Like a 3 minute install. Instructions weren't in my box...

BRIGHT, LOOKS NICE, FOAM AROUND ISN'T BEST
ITS NICE, BRIGHT BUT THE FOAM AROUND IT TO KEEP WATER OUT, WHICH IS HOW THE STOCK ONE FAILED, IS LACKING. I GORILLA TAPED THE ENTIRE LIGHT SO NO WATER GETS AROUND. 2 MONTHS IN AND SO FAR SO GOOD IN SNOW. I DONT THINK YOU CAN REPLACE THE LED INSIDE.

is truly plug and play and has a good seal against the body
There are cheaper ones out there but this is well made, is truly plug and play and has a good seal against the body. About 5 mins to fit.
