Contemporary Sociological Theory and Its Classical Roots: The Basics 4th Edition

Good reference for a book I'm writing.

When it comes to textbooks… most are tolerable or out right terrible; Contemporary Soc Theory does not fall in either group as it was actually pretty good! Easy to read/ follow, scientific when the topic deemed extra info necessary and just the right size. Put it this way, a majority of my old textbooks have been sold back/ recycled or donated… this book remains on my shelf so I can refer back to it every so often.

It is okay as far as textbooks go. I have read the entire book but can honestly say that I only took away from it maybe 30%.

Interesting book if you are into social theories.
