Q: Does this product have an expiration date?

Yes, 12M from opening. There's a picture with the opened product on it that has 12M in it so it's not an actual date typed out.

Q: Does anyone know if you use this in addition to the heat protectant spray By this company or if they are basically the same thing?

I only use this heat protectant and I think it does the job pretty well. I haven’t tried the heat protectant spray from this company though.
