Even though the box took some hits in transit, the pieces were well packed with a lot of styrofoam and cardboard, so other than one tiny nick in the front of the base, all the parts were included and in tact. The nick is tiny and will easily be patched with a little white paint. There are a lot of parts to this but the small parts where labeled and this made it easy to find what you needed to assemble it. My advice, lay everything out and take your time. The instructions were pretty clear to me since I have assembled a lot of flat pack furniture. Most of the project was done without an electric drill for fear of stripping anything by over tightening. And it was built mostly by one person, a little help from hubby for some of the assembling where two hands made it easier - but this could be assembled by one person. For the price, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality which was even better than I was expecting. As a start to upgrading our kitchen over the long run, this piece actually looks like a more permanent kitchen cabinet than one on coasters, and perfect size for a smaller kitchen.

I bought this island for my small kitchen. The island looks very good and it's sturdy. There were tons of small parts and some of the instructions aren't clear. Took my husband a while to get it together. The only two bad things are the top is laminate and a couple of the corners got damaged on the first day. And if you're sensitive to smells like I am there is a strong chemical smell. Hoping it will go away in a week or so. I have the windows open. Overall though a really nice piece with plenty of storage.

It took many hours (maybe four?) to put together but it is beautiful and a quality price of furniture. I would highly recommend if you’re a patient person. I’m very pleased with how it turned out.

It took 2 hours to put together by myself. I used a screwdriver at first, but then switched to my drill. It came in two boxes and the directions were very clear and easy to understand. It was packaged nicely and no damage on any pieces. This island holds a lot!

Love it for my weird old house kitchen. Only minor things- pain to put together, obviously lol, and it’s skinnier than the picture makes it seem. Not enough to care, it’s perfect for the space. The flap that I keep up all the time is off on one end, I don’t think the screws lined up, but that’s an easy fix. I was looking at these before and they were all $1,000+ so I think this is a great deal for what it is!!!

Assembly takes a while but it is a very functional addition to my kitchen.directions are thorough. Took me about 5 hours to assemble but I move slow. Appears to be very sturdy.

If three of the pieces don’t come damaged, this would have gotten five stars. It fits nicely in my tiny kitchen, seems sturdy, and was easy to assemble. It looks great and will look even better once I fix the visible dings and scratches, it just sucks I have to hide scratches on a brand new piece of furniture. Item comes in two heavy boxes so it’s not worth the hassle to return after opening.

It’s very pretty and Adds storage to my smallish kitchen. It is pretty heavy and sturdy except for the drawer which is a little wobbly. Overall I’m very pleased with it.
