Can opener that is safe
It is slow and it needs batteries to power it. But it can cut with no problem and there is no sharp edges.

works pretty but is slowand continues to rotate even when can is open.
However I've only used it a few times so maybe this is not a trend, at least I hope it;s not.

Unreliable.
Not reliable. At first, this was fantastic! I have MS, so don't have a lot of strength to push down on a can opener. It was perfect! I loved that the lids were cut off around the side of the can so the lids and cans didn't have sharp edges!I was thrilled - however, after using it for a month it suddenly stopped working, right in the middle of opening a can. We discovered if I took the battery cover off and popped up one of the batteries slightly, it would run. However, when you tried to use it the batteries would fall out, of course. When I put the battery cover back on, it wouldn't work.I bought another one at Wal Mart as a gift (before mine quit working) and sadly, we never could get that one to work at all.This is a great idea, but there are still some design flaws to be worked out. We bought a similar one from Hamilton Beach - works well, but the lids still have a sharp edge. Oh, well.

Slow!!!!!
This product does open your cans but it's the slowest can opener I think I have ever seen!! And for the price and the name of it you would think it would be super fast! NOT!.

Works well
Works as designed no problems.I would purchase another if needed and would consider this as a possible gift for someone. Easy to operate

Two hands to add batteries
The only problem with this one handed can opener is that it takes TWO HANDS to add the batteries. Kind of defeats the purpose

they all love it. great for elder weaker hands
Ended up buy ing 2 of these, one for my parents and one for my elderly aunt. they all love it. great for elder weaker hands. should be a staple in all households.
