Useful although fiddly to install
Due to the design of the TJ Jeep, this appears straight forward installation yet, the not behind the handle that needs to be removed should be unbolted with care so you don't loose it inside the dashboard. Patience is required and now that it is installed, works very well with the drinks now at a more convenient height.

This phone/cup holder is really nice in my 1999 Jeep Wrangler. There really is no other place to put a phone holder other than the glove compartments grips. It also holds up our radio console cause the clips kinda broke, so it's a great hidden feature ;)

It was a bit of work to install, the nut that you have to remove is inside the glovebox in a tight spot. Works GREAT as a phone holder, which is what I wanted it for. Not so great as a drink holder, it's not tight enough to hold the drink when you're hitting bumps and there's only a small little lip on the bottom.

After 3 hours of messing with my grab handle which has stripped bolts (nothing to do with the cup holder, just a side note), I gave up and rigged the cup holder to mount below the handle... As far as the cup holder, it is nice and made of sturdy metal. It holds my Samsung Galaxy Note 10 perfectly, even with a large case that holds my debit cards. As far as cups are concerned, a soda can and a water bottle are perfect but the grab is not tight enough to hold a large Yeti cup in place without dropping it as soon as I start to drive.

Does not hold drink or phone secure during driving. Once you hit a bump what is in the holder falls out
