Crushed shells but usable

This is a great product for slow reloading projects such as buckshot or slugs. I was able to make a decent shell on the first try.the crimping tool worked very well on virgin 16 gauge hulls. I would recommend using over shot cards before crimping. I also used a roll crimping tool and made nice clean shells. The only thing you should keep in mind is the instructions are translated so some of the terms are different. Look up ant you tube review and it is a very simple process. The product itself is very solid and made in Russia. The depriming tool are removable and can be replaced easily if damaged. A typical reloader should be able to get years of use out of this tool. Last I enjoyed making shells with this tool it is a relaxing process

For the price, can't be beat. Great for low volume. Using it for 2 1/2" black powder loads.

Finding 16ga shells in this ammo shortage has driven me to this. I can collect all the parts, shot, and powder at the gun show and enjoy custom bench loading on the cheap. 16ga shells that are sold come in very limited shot sizes and not the size I'm looking for. Reloading is self-entertainment with a splash of feeling self-sufficiency that makes it worthwhile. Reloading can't come anymore manual than this. It's slow. Really slow. Which is just fine for the diversion that it is.

Reloading shells can save money, but rarely time. Before the ammo shortages, it wasn't uncommon to find an entire flat of loaded shells for less than my cost of reloading. Saving money isn't the only motivation to choose to reload. The manner of reloading depends on preference / need. I like the simplicity of Daddy Ammo reloaders. I haven't needed to use the reloaders, but have handled the machines, adding and removing the different components. The designs are smart. The Desktop Reloader has a mount that secures it to a table. One charged cartridge is placed, and the handle rotated to seal the cartridge's free edge. The Star Shape Reloading Press helps press in, remove, funnel in wads and spacers, and fold a plastic or paper shell edge into a star shape. I like both reloaders and rated each five stars.
