Wish I could wear them year around
About three years ago I bought some Orthaheel Women's Tide 2 sandals in a store and absolutely loved them. They are still in good shape but I got to thinking that some day they will wear out or break so I better get some backup sandals. Boo hoo. The store I got them at went out of business, so I ordered them from Amazon. I still had the receipt from the ones in the store three years ago so I used that to make sure I was getting the same thing, same size. The new ones are stiffer in the soles than the old ones. I don't know if that is a break-in problem because I don't remember how the original ones felt when they were new. These feel like they aren't quite as cushiony of a material in the sole. The new ones also felt a little bit smaller. I've tried holding the old and new up against each other and I guess depending on how I hold them, sometimes they do look a quarter of an inch or so smaller, sometimes not. Anyway, they are taking a little time to get used to but finally decided that they are keepers. My feet are fussy. Heel is narrow but ball area is not narrow. Then a few years ago I broke some metatarsal bones and tore a ligament in one foot so that upped ante on my fussy feet. Even with the new ones feeling stiffer and smaller, they still are comfortable and I'm wearing them as I type this.I'd wear them year around but I also have Reynaud's Phenonomon (poor circulation in hands and feet) so I'll have to come up with something else for the winter.

Theses are perfect
I have severe knee issues and I was looking for a nice looking and comfortable sandal. I’m a flip flop girl and I’m not giving them up. These sandals are perfect. Super comfortable and supportive. They look beautiful. I highly recommend them . They’re worth the extra money you’ll spend. They seem to run large. Normally I were an 81/2 I ended up with an 8.

Plantar Fasciitis Relief!!
I struggle with foot issues. I have heal spurs and issues with plantar fasciitis in both feet. Also, I broke an ankle when I was 8 years old and now have an ankle spur that gives me grief if I don't wear shoes with support. For the past year I've been getting away with wearing cheap shoes because even though I'm a t-shirt and jean kind of gal, I hate the look of grandma-ish orthotics. Also, I'm hopelessly cheap. Now I'm paying for it. Sometime early this summer I starting having PF pain...again. The pain is bad. I purchased these after a recommendation from a friend and they are a lifesaver. From the first step out of bed to the last one at night, these are the ONLY shoes I can wear right now. No more cheapo rubber flip flops for me. I'm a fan of Vionics for life. They fit well and are well worth the money. They are a nice looking casual sandal with a wide strap. Not your grandma's flip flops....well, maybe. But if your grandma wears these, she must be a pretty cool lady without pain in her feet. DON'T hesitate to buy these for yourself. They would also make a great gift for your grandma. ; )

Best flip flops! Size down for half sizes
I have flat feet and must wear orthotics to relieve foot arch pain, and regular flat flip flops are a no-go for me. These have been an absolute lifesaver and are my favorite flip flops! I'm very hard on my shoes and wear them out quickly, so I need a new pair every year. The arch support is so helpful and makes all the difference for me! I normally wear 8.5 US/39 Eur in shoes but size down to an 8 in these, and I normally wear D width (wide) shoes, but the normal B width in these flip flops fits perfectly (I have not tried the D width in these shoes, but since the B width fits, I imagine the D width would be too wide). Highly recommend!

Got Lucky, sometimes not so much.
I NEED Tide Post sandals by Vionic during all waking hours of the day. Can not walk without them. Severe PF. Under doctors care of course. There are no other shoes I can wear even if I add inserts. 12months a year. Sandals in winter too :)So, hopefully you understand the seriousness for me.I ordered from this seller, my normal Vionic size 8. ---Whewwww, they were perfect.Big concern is always the placement and stability of the toe post. When placement is off to the side and/or toe post is not taut, the shoe is unwearable. Sometimes I end up returning because of defects. The only thing I noticed was the word VIONIC was NOT in red on the bottom of the shoe. What is UP with that?I quickly ordered another back up pair.Lets hope the next order coming is of the same quality, IF not, I will be returning.Edit to add: My 2nd pair just arrived today. Thank you for quick shipping. BUT--, they appear to be used. Dirt rock/sand particles on the bottom of sandals, sandals just thrown in box, NO cardboard supportive toe post wrap, NO vionic shoe pamphlets. Very disappointed in buying tried on/used shoes for full price. --- Seller has been notified.Thanks.

Great purchase
My podiatrist recommended this brand because I can't live without sandals. I had really bad plantar fasciitis in my left foot with multiple rounds of injections & physical therapy & ultimately surgery on left foot. I also broke that foot & have had complications almost 2 years later from arthritis. My right ankle hurts in your regular flip flops from bursitis so sandals are troublesome. I finally caved & forked over the money & I'm glad I did. These were a little awkward at first as Im used to flat non-orthotic flip flops. My ankle hurt the 1st few minutes but I quickly got used to them & they felt great. No limping after sitting which is usual for me. We went from store to store today & I would normally get out of the car limping until my feet got going again, but not with these. My feet also didn't hurt after taking them off and walking barefoot! Looking for my next pair! I'm usually an 8 and a narrower foot. I found these to be true to size.
