I need 1 finger print reader to open 8 cabinet doors at the same time. Is there a way I can link the locks with jumper wires in between them?

It can be done- use the finger print reader to send the signal as it is intended. Cut off the other finger print readers and splice all the wires together matching colors to the single reader. each tumbler has its own power so there will not be a power draw issue. Also, depending on your level of knowledge, you could hook the reader up to a programmed Arduino board or some other way to get it to send via bluetooth and wire bluetooth receivers to each tumbler. This way the reader could be in another location wire free.

I’m lost on how to register a fingerprint. The instructions in the package are kind of confusing. Can anyone help?

Press finger on and hold for five seconds AFTER the latch comes back up. The light will change to blue. Then put finger on and off five times with a second or two between. When the light changes color, you’re done.
