Works as advertised!
I only have 2 HDMI outputs on my projector and I needed more to add my soundbar, fire stick and Roku Ultra. The HDMI switches I own had no ARC, so I couldn't get my soundbar to work with my streaming devices. My Roku streambar wouldn't control the volume on my projector or Fire stick so I ended up buying a Sofabaton X1 which allowed me to control my soundbar on my Fire stick and built in Google tv but it has a noticeable delay when adjusting volume, play pause, etc on my Roku Ultra and I preferred using my Roku remote. With the OREI switch I connected soundbar to ARC on switch and I could control the sound again on my Roku and there was no delay like I had when I use Sofabaton which I still use to control Fire stick and Google tv. The only thing you need to be aware of is there is about a minute delay for volume control to work when 1st turning on TV or switching inputs but after that no further issues. I'm just glad to be able to use my Roku remote again! The OREI has a large button on top for switching inputs easily or a small remote that works fine if you're further away from it. I've had it a few weeks and it works great. What surprised me is when doing a search looking for the best switches there were only reviews of Switches with no ARC control and none even mentioneding the OREI. I'm sure there must be a lot of people who have soundbars also, that this would be perfect for. I found the OREI by doing a search on Amazon for switches with ARC and theirs had the most compatibility with all my devices at a reasonable price. So I highly recommend this for anyone that needs ARC control, as far as I'm concerned this should be at the top of the list for best switch reviews ARC or not!

2x1 Version Perfect for PiP
I purchased this (HD-201P) box because I wanted the option to see my front door security camera (via HDMI player) while still watching TV. This unit is working absolutely perfectly for that. I'm glad I did NOT get the 4-way multi-view version for this purpose even though it had more inputs and not more expensive - that's just not the same as PiP. Pros: - PiP has several practical layout options including which corner of the screen and 3 different size options. Also supports side-by-side and weird stretch modes but you won't use those. - Both IR and RS232 support makes automation easy - No reduction in frame rate Cons: - RS232 control was a little glitchy but fixed after support sent me firmware update

Overall a great unit for the price
The quality of the switcher is awesome and does everything as needed. It passes audio and video very well and automatically switches inputs when a new device is turned on. Pros: Auto switching is a nice feature and works pretty well Unit feels like its high quality and they could easily charge $20-30 more for it Switcher passes 4k content which worked well for when I upgraded my TV a few weeks ago to a new 4k Samsung Supports an external IR blaster I haven't really used the PiP too much but it is a neat way to view all of your HDMI inputs at the same time and see what you are switching to before you switch Cons: Auto switching cannot be turned off - My AmazonTV box pretty much stays on or on standby and when my other devices are turned off, it always automatically switches to the amazon tv input. Its not a huge deal but it can get annoying The IR remote the switcher comes with is really low quality and I have the press the buttons several times and rather hard in order for the input to be switched

Expand your number of HDMI ports
Too many things to connect to HDTV and not enough HDMI ports. So, this device allowed me to connect a couple of more items (FireStick, LaserDisk player, etc.) to the TV. Works as expected. Comes with a remote control so input can be changed from a distance.

Worked great for about 6 months
Worked great for about 6 months. Then the sound cut out occasionally to now there is no sound at all on any of the devices connected to the box. You still get picture, but TV is a little less exciting without sound. Unless you want to do your own dialogue. In that case, go for it. Otherwise, meh.

Super HDMI switcher
Excellent product! Works mostly beautifully. In fact, in every respect except audio, I am extremely pleased. I cut the cable cord and my set-up consists of an ASUS monito(which I love)r, a VIEW-TV At-263 tuner(which works very well) a Yamaha ATS 1080 sound bar(which love) with HDMI and HDMI ARC ports, and the OREI switcher, a HD external antenna, and a ROKU+ streaming stick. WHen switching between the antenna and the ROKU, the sound sometimes cuts out until I select HDMI on the Yamaha remote. I had a cheaper FOSMON HDMI switch before the OREI unit and the problem never occurred with the FOSMON unit. But in every other respect, the OREI switch is vastly superior. Love the PIP and PWP functionality. It is a small glitch but seems to be connected with the OREI unit connections when I am switching inputs. I would still highly recommend the OREI unit.

Really nice to have, pain to switch the inputs
It's great to have all of my consoles hooked up to one switcher that I can switch through whenever needed, but man, the remote it came with really isn't great. Most of the time you're stuck switching through the inputs with the button on the actual switcher, instead of the remote. Not to also mention, there's little to no indication as to which is the correct source you're trying to use. You kinda just press the button to switch inputs until it works, which really makes it hard to use too. With all of that said, I'd still recommend it if you're in the market for something like it. The picture quality is exactly the same as if it were directly input to the TV, the sound quality is the exact same, and its compatible with any device that uses HDMI output.

Overall a fantastic product, I highly recommend this switcher over any other, and I've bought many. TL;DR.. +Software/hardware +No lag or black screen +PIP in any corner, 3 different sizes +Super intuitive +-Price -Only 2 inputs & 1 output -Only 1080p/60 -Only Orei model to offer PIP resizing and change corner Works great for my dual monitor PC and security camera setup, I bought this specific version of switcher because you're able to move the PIP window to any corner of the monitor and cycle through three different sizes. It switches the source instantaneously between inputs, with no black screen, as well as with size and preferred corner, the software and hardware running the switcher is great! Remote is easy to use and has no lag. Nothing about the product feels cheap in any way, solidly built metal chassis, runs very cool. I added rubber feet to the bottom so it didn't scratch my desk, it may not have. Two issues, both of which I knew before hand, but issues none the less; it's only capable of 1080p/60 and there's only two source inputs and one output. You can definitely tell there's image loss viewing 4K security cameras through the 1080p splitter vs. directly into the HDMI port on the monitor (even though my monitors are only 1080p) I wish Orei would manufacture a 3+ input 1+ output unit that you're able to move the PIP window around the screen and was capable of handling 4K - this switcher will work until then.

Very good does everything as advertised but as it come with an American plug needed to get an adapter as unit runs on 100 - 240 volt and as advertised need to plug into a surge protector power strip that I already had to prevent power surge got an orie adapter from manufacture on USA Amazon as was cheaper than UK Amazon

After trying out a few of these types of hubs, this one is by far the best. Great build quality and it's still working perfectly fine after 3 months

Can’t cope with the PS5. To keeps Switching off as it can’t see a signal from the PS5 with this in between, change nothing and take it out and join the two HDMIs all works fine.
