Fly Knee (Black, Large)

If you do indoor airsoft, these are the pads to look out for. I got some large pads and they fit snug, I do advise taking some time to break them in as they will interfere with standing up straight but you’ll get used to it. They’re a clean tuff look. You can feel the quality is there, with enough protective padding to protect your knees from the hard floor sliding. 10/10 worth the money.

I just got back into skateboarding after 11 years and kept injuring myself. I figured it was time to put my pride aside and pick up some protection. These knee pads are a literal life saver. Pros: * They are incredibly durable - I’ve taken multiple falls in them and barely have a scratch on them * Protection - I fell from an 8 foot ramp on my knees and it felt like falling on clouds Cons: * sizing - order a size larger than you think. Specially if you plan on wearing them over pants * stiff - when you first put them on it’s almost impossible to bend you legs but after wearing them a couple times they break in nicely

Purchased these for airsoft indoors and they work perfectly the way I inteded to use them to slide around. Very comfortable and size fits perfect despite it being large, can be adjusted. Good for the price and good quality. May look bulky but does not look bad at all.

I’ve been a ramp agent at an airport for the past 2.5 years and only recently started using knee pads after my knees began to hurt. The ones I tried before never fit properly and would fall off while sliding around in the bin. After doing some research, I found these—and they’re exactly what I needed. Unlike the standard-issued knee pads, these have a sock-like liner that you slip your leg through, which keeps them securely in place. I actually love the sock feature—it keeps the pads from shifting around and makes them feel much more secure. The only downside is that you have to put them on before your shift, rather than right before you pit the flight. They’re comfortable enough to wear throughout the rest of the operation, but they do take a little time to get used to. My only concern is how they’ll feel in the summer—wearing them through an entire flight in the heat might get pretty uncomfortable. One unexpected bonus: I love how easy it is to slide around in the bin with them on. That alone makes a big difference during tight turns and loading bags quickly. That said, I’m not docking any stars from my review. They clearly weren’t designed to be put on and taken off easily—they were made for skateboarding, and in that context, the sock-liner design makes perfect sense. For ramp work, they’ve still been a great solution.

I measured carefully and this is my fourth pair of pads, and my second pair of 187's. Despite measuring carefully, the size up from my measurements was still too tight. I had to order two sizes up from the recommended size, and still they are too tight! I would really need a 2x. I am a relatively small person! 5 ft 1 inch. My knee measured 14 in and my thigh is 18 inches. I weigh around 145-150 lbs. I hope this helps someone else who is built like I am. These pads do offer excellent cushioning for falls. And they are more supportive than other pads I've tried. I would buy again but someone needs to make pads for us girls with the thunder thighs or at very least improve the measurement chart.

This is my second time purchasing these knee pads. The first set lasted 3 years playing roller derby one to three times a week. After 3 years I had to replace because the White Cap started to separate from the rest of the knee pad on one side. Like falling on a cloud so I got the same ones again

I can't find knee pads that aren't part of a whole children's set at my local skateshops or outdoors store. I'm so glad I was able to get a pair that fits here. They are great quality and the shipping was fast. Now I can learn to skate safely! Note to other small ladies out there: don't get the medium knee pads even if you measure for it. Especially of the pro knee pads. I made that mistake and they are huge.

The knee pads definitely does what it's advertised to do. It has saved my knees from a few falls I had when I was in the skate park. I wouldn't recommend it if you're doing leisure skating as it restricts your movements to a certain extent. That being said, it take some time to break in the foams so you will feel more comfortable wearing them. Sizing : the size chart is fairly accurate and it's ok if it's tight at first, it will stretch to your size.
