Such a Compact Tripod
This tripod folds down to a third of my Manfrotto tripod, and even has a fluid head for video. The build quality is excellent with metal parts that will last for years.I wish this had a ball head for quick leveling, but for the price it is a great travel tripod for photos or video.

This is definitely the way to go - a fluid head.
This is definitely the way to go. Until this tripod, I have only owned the low-priced junk that do not have a fluid head. All you get with those is jerky and sticking movement for both pan and tilt. And for my purposes, I don't want or need the super expensive models that are too big and heavy. This one will easily handle most people's needs, very strong and sturdy. The seller was great and prompt to work with, too, when I had a minor issue to better understand and correct.

Not as light as I hoped, but seems well made.
The tripod appears to be a nice, well made tripod. However, I was looking for a lightweight tripod to take on travel and this one is about 3 pounds and quite bulky. As a result I returned it and ordered a tripod that is less than 2 pounds that will be easier for me to transport.

Definitely what I was looking for.
High quality construction/ durability. I have a Canon r50 and a Sigma 150-600mm contemporary lense. When used with the center rod all the way down, it is extremely steady. No more wobbly tripod!

I had to return it because a leaver was not working. Ordered a replacement.

Worth Buying
I bought another brand from amazon similar to this and cheaper and got the other one that was broken, the leg fell out and was cheaply made. this one has way more quality for a few buck more
