Very disappointed.
I'm sorry to be negative and I'm not sure who is at fault. The first delivery had only one collar. So, I returned it and ordered it again. Second time, same thing. Maybe, they should edit their description from (PAIR) to (SINGLE).

Very sturdy, but the posts aren't permanent
Very sturdy, but the posts aren't permanent, so when the wingnut is tightened down, sometimes the posts will unscrew when you try to unscrew the wing nut for a weight change. As long as you are aware, can probably just locktite the posts and not have any issues.

Not fancy, but very reliable
I got these collars for the farmers walk bars at my gym. They are obviously not as quick to use as a lot of the collars that are on the market right now, but they work great! They tighten down really good and they will hold a plate on better than anything else I have tried so far.

Nice collars, shipping too expensive.
These collars are about what you would expect. They are an alternative to the spring type collars when a bar's diameter is thinner than the standard olympic bar or for use as an inside collar. I use them on a custom made fat bar that I made from pipe purchased at a big box home improvement store.The shipping charge of $7.99 was in my opinion excessive for this item. The seller charges the same price shipping for a number of different collars they sell, some of which are much larger and weigh a lot more.

Jury is still out
These appeared great at first, but one of the threaded tightening rods stripped within a couple days and once set. I don't move them so I was surprised that just the act of sliding the collars on and spinning the star would strip it out. Not sure how to fix them, I guess I'll have to re-thread the hole and get a new rod.
