Very nice
Very nice under my pergola for tea time. Appears to be sturdy a bit heavy but not extremely heavy like iron. It was a pain to put together with the tools they include, scratched my knuckles several times but easy to read directions.

Cute set
Very cute little bistro set.The people complaining about how the instructions say to not tighten the screws and gave it a low rating Didn’t read the complete instructions to entirety, it says to tighten them once everything is in the correct spot which makes complete sense. If you are inductive and don’t mind completely reading the instructions , you may enjoy this little set.Now I have a perfect place to sit and do homework.I actually had my 14 and 15 year-old assemble it for me.

2/3 of the set was missing.
I received the package timely, but the box only contained the bistro table. Both of the chairs were missing. Also, the table top was cracked along the edge. Not at all “good condition”. Also, all of the hardware was scattered throughout the box and was not packaged neatly, which made repackaging it for return quite the hassle. This is the last time I will trust a re-sale item.

Finally put together.
I’m think the bistro set is great! The only issue I had was trying to get one bolt to line up for the seat back to the seat. I tried both seats but it was out of line. I was able to pound and chisel the aluminum seat so the bolt would go through. The first chair worked well but I took it apart to see if it would work with the second seat parts. Chiseling finally worked. Now, I am happy with the product but it is due to my determination to make it work.I love the cast iron legs on the chairs. Would like to see that on the table as I live in an area with high winds.Overall, after my effort to get the bolt to work, I the love the bistro set.

The definitive review--80 kilograms = 180 pounds
The 80 pound limit that so many reviewers mention is solved here. This was made in China where they use the metric system. The bolts tighten with a 14mm wrench. The weight limit should be 80 KILOGRAMS, not pounds. 80 kilos is equal to about 180 POUNDS, thus this is not unreasonable, as the set is lightweight. I weigh about 90 kilos, which equals about 200 pounds. It took me an hour and a half to put it together with the enclosed bolts. The instructions were clear enough, though a couple of photos would have helped. After you catch on to the technique (screwing a double ended bolt in and then sliding tabs over it and then adding washers and a nut), it is simple to see how it goes together. I used a regular wrench instead of the flimsy one included. DO NOT use a power driver on this, as you will over tighten and possibly snap off the bolts. The reason the instructions say not to tighten the bolts at first is because with the table, there is a round brace that goes midway up the legs and all the parts must coincide before tightening. On the chairs, the back fits over two bolts, but the clearance is narrow, and if you tighten the legs first, the back won't go on. This is just for the two legs adjacent to the back.It all went together reasonably well, with no mismatches, and plenty of bolts and washers. If you look at the picture on the box and then at the bolts and holes, you can pretty much figure it out. Don't overtighten as the bolts are iron and the table aluminum. The finish is outstanding, a natural looking bronze with highlights and the design is intricate and delicate yet cast in metal, modifying that "too cute" look.It is sturdy enough for a 200 pound man and comfortable enough for short periods of time. I put round 15" cushions on the seat bottoms and they fit perfectly, making the seat much more "sit-able." It's best not to lean back too heavily. This is not a set for slouching and it's not a set for kids, though it may look like a "doll set." It needs more careful, if not delicate, sitting. I wouldn't stand on the seat, for instance. When you sit, not all your weight is on your bottom. At 200 pounds, probably 150 pounds rests on the seat, so I'm still within the suggested weight of 80 kilos, and it doesn't appear shaky or in any danger of collapsing. It's not for rowdy guests or rambunctious kids or those seriously overweight, but it looks good, is functional and costs only $100. What more could you ask for?
