Way better than expected. Excellent mic kit!
The drums on my album came out fantastic. Some other reviews mention that the clips are easy to break, but I think they may have been improperly installed. These have held up very well for over a year of use. I have whacked the crap out of a couple of them full force in the middle of drumming and they work fine and stayed attached and whole. The hinge on the case is not so great, but it holds together for travel. It likes to come apart if you leave it open and move it around. It's easy to put it back together. All in all this mic set is well worth the money. In this case I believe you get more than what you pay for.

Extremely affordable
You get what you pay for usually and in this case it's crazy to get 4 mics with clips and a padded carrying case for the price. Obviously the sound quality is not up to par with higher end mics but to simply record drums this pack is a killer deal for a budget option. All 4 mics are dynamic and the 3 clips work on flanged hoops just fine. Definitely a worthwhile purchase if you need to get started close-miking a kit and don't require professional grade audio. If you record properly and process the signals well, the average person will never know these were such cheap mics.

Good for the price
Thay sound pretty good im an audix fan but i needed a set asap and i was broke got this having an audix d6 for the kick and a few others for the snare so i been recording demos at the practice pad with this ones the clips are super bendy the mics do their job cant the complain at all a little eq and go im happymy only with them for the price if you only have $75 bux to spend then get them now if you want yo get serious save up and get audix for x4the price or.... Just ad more eq lol and save money "just make sure you tighten the grills they will come loose and make a horrible noice that WILL ruin your take"

Nice kit for the money
If you need to mic your drum kit for reference, these sound great. Crisp, clear, and durable. I dropped two of them at a gig and they still work great.

Great deal! Exactly what I expected for the price.
I'm not only a musician but have worked in event/concert production and as an audio tech for over 10 years. I was in a pinch, needed some drum mics on short notice and had about a hundred bucks available. After weighing my options I decided to purchase the DRDK4 Drum mic kit and was pretty satisfied. Great for club gigs or smaller outdoor venues. You get a crisp attack and great tone from the kick mic and the tom/snare mics sound great after tweaking the EQ a bit. I threw a couple of SM85s on booms also and the drum mix turned out very nice. I'm sure if I spent more time playing with EQ and Gates I could get them sounding even better. I'd recommend these for the price. You get 4 decent sounding mics for the price of 1. But if you have a $600 budget then you may want to keep looking.

Sound quality is as good as the more expensive mics.
Honestly wasn’t sure what to expect. But they are good mics. Crystal clear and easy to work with.
