Grafix Acetate Pad, 9 X 12 in, Clear, 25 Sheets/Pad

These bring back memories... of sleeping through meeting when the overhead projector would come out and the lights were turned off. Bought these to make shaker cards. Have also been using to stamp image on it, before I stamp on the cardstock. It’s most helpful for planning position of stamps. Wipes clean. They are so clear that sometimes I can’t figure out why I can’t get an image to appear (I use a Misti) on the cardstock (I forget it’s stuck to the stamp when I lift the lid of the Misti).

I use a lot of acetate while building my miniature models, and this acetate is great quality! However, it’s very thin and flexible, so if you’re expecting something that will keep its shape on its own, this is not the acetate you need. But if you’re looking for acetate to put in dollhouse windows as “glass,” this will work great.

Nice big package of acetate! I'm using this product to make windows on my shaker cards. Its a bit thinner then i thought I would be, but does not change the integrity of my shaker window. Cuts easily with my paper cutter. The sheets are secured in the package at the top and has a thin film between each sheet.

I actually use these for a scientific purpose. I am an paleontologist studying clams and after etching the surface of the cross-section of a shell with acid, I coat that surface with acetone and use these sheets to take a "peel" of the surface. Doing so, I can see very fine growth bands in the shell! Acetate peels are a very useful tool in geology and biology. These sheets serve great for that purpose. Amazon is one of the few places that still carries these: all of the office supply places sell only matte acetate or a clear plastic for transparencies. The sheets are very easy to cut up to have just the size you need. I'd suggest doubling up if you are making a clear window for gift boxes as they can be easy to tear. Being easy to tear is good for my use but maybe not if durable packaging is a concern!

This acetate by Grafix is very thin and flexible which is perfect for consolidating the many individual sheets of stamps into one. I cut my 9x12 sheet down to a standard 8-1/2"x11" and that slides perfectly into a plastic sheet protector. I created a hanging file organization system which allows me to categorize my stamps. This is so much more convenient than all the small binders and tiny acetate sheets. Using this Graphix Acetate, I'm able to see all my stamps at once from any given category. And what's nice about the thinner acetate, I can fit 2 sheets of 8-1/2"x11" of acetate per plastic folder with a colored separator sheet in between. Thicker acetate would make it difficult for the sheets to slide in and out conveniently. I would recommend this product for artists in pursuit of better stamp storage.

I have bought window sheets/acetate sheets before that are much thicker. Ultimately these did work (in a pinch) but I was expecting a much thicker sheet. This are very thin and flexible, not as thick as the kind you would use with an over-head projector. I would not recommend these for making "windows" in boxes or shaker cards, as crafters like to do. Clear, clean quality sheets - just not as thick as I would have liked.

I had hoped this acetate would be a little bit thicker, but it still worked for my Shaker cards. The value was better than the other companies I had compared it to. I would recommend this product for simple projects only.

It says 25 pages, but can clearly see pages was torn and only 24 pages

I use it for calligraphy gilding and it's just what I wanted.

I got this product long before expected. After I needed it unfortunately but either way it was a nice surprise. Came package well, no bends. It's worked out for my edible decorations.
