It fit perfectly, and it was easy to change. The problem was solved. It is working as expected. It is a good product, delivered quickly.

My original one died, this one works well so far
My orignal Mansfield flush valve's gasket assembly started to fall apart in pieces (after 25+ years), and the water continued to dribble out and every so often a flush would happen of its own accord. The original one was slightly different than the modern version and just replacing the grayish rubbery gasket (probably molded into place) with the red one didn't work (the old piston(?) was not heavy enough).So I got this as replacement, the official Mansfield version. It's working great so far. (The other toilet may be due for a change as well, but not there quite yet.)

Only replace your mansfield flush valve using the mansfield made unit.
This was a perfect fit and works as expected. Do not waste your time or money installing a Korky flush valve which supposedly replaces both the 210,and 211 mansfield models. I gave Korky two chances and both units leaked. I recommend this product. Mansfield 211.

Buy genuine Mansfield parts
We had a leaky seal on our 25 year old Mansfield toilet.I tried to cheap out and just replace the seal. I ordered a genuine OEM Mansfield seal but received an off brand seal... and it leaked.This new flush valve was the answer.I am impressed with the Mansfield design... never had a toilet require less maintenance than this Mansfield.
