Worked perfectly for my jeep 4.0.
Used it on my 1998 jeep XJ cherokee.1. The engine must be at operating temp because the oil filter adapter bolt is attached with lock tight. Once you break it free you will need to let the engine cool to finish the job.2. You need a 17mm or 11/16 offset wrench. Using a regular wrench will give you the improper angle with the potential to strip the bolt.3. You will need some sort of cheater bar. I had a rebar bender laying around and that worked.4. Come from on top front of the car. Push away from you. That would be pushing towards the dash board.5. Once its broken then you can come from the bottom and finish the job. .Cheers and best of luck.

Works for jeep 4l oil filter adapter
Anyone who says it doesn’t - you need to break it loose first. I used a regular torx socket, with a wrench that fit on the hex key part.. then use a pipe on that. Get it broken loose a little, remove all of those tools, and use this to fully remove. The install is really not bad, much easier than removal.

Not great for XJ Oil Filter Adapter Bolt
If you are buying these for the oil filter adapter bolt on a 93-01 XJ I would look else where. The bit is too shallow to really get a good bite on the bolt. I started with this set and cammed out of the bolt teice and I thought I was done, I wound up going to the store and just getting a 1/2" drive T60, hammering out the bit and using that. You can see the difference in bit depth between the two. I will definitely keep these in my draw and in sure they will come in handy at some point. They are very well made just not the right tool for this job

Works great, no end shearing or rounding off of the bits. Gets off rust frozen bolts.
Best set of torx I have ever purchased. Got tired of shearing the ends off of the Torx sets I have from Advanced Auto and Autozone. Used this set for frozen torx 1/4" torx bolts and didnt see it rounding off any of the bits in the set. Needed these for the door bolts for my Jeep XJ, the low profile works well.I would recommend these if you have to work with torx hardware.

these really saved my ass working on removing the seats out of my @#$^%!!! BMW. absolutely NO room for a "normal" bit to remove them and these worked great

Better quality than expected!
This exactly what I needed. These are actually very well made. The T60 handles 85 ft-lbs torque very well. Would recommend these to anyone.
