Always Read The Instructions! installed on a Taurus TX Competition
Installed on Taurus TX Competition. I got the idea from 22 Plinkster. The sight is a gem. Many reviewers make it obvious they did not read the instructions. It is sad to read a review that isn't about a product. This is a great value and it works as advertised.

Great sight!
I have several Crimson Trace sights and this one I bought for another specific handgun. The others have worked for years with no issues. I wasn’t sure about this model if it was the correct one, so I simply called them and was told this was the correct model for what I needed. Extremely helpful and friendly support staff. I’ll keep buying CT products.

Docter footprint
When I first turned this on the dot was so bright it hurt my eye and their was reflections everywhere. Then I turned down the brightness to almost the lowest setting and it was great, even in broad daylight. When I tried to lower the dot to zero it out I followed the directions in the manual. I turned it clockwise to lower it and the dot didn't move, then I tried counterclockwise and I zeroed out the dot.

Cheap red dot......
Bought this on sale....always been a vortex user. This thing stopped working prior to ever gettin’ to the range! Would not turn on tried a new battery.....DOA! Back to vortex and their lifetime warranty! Amazon return policy and convenience was great.

Brightness stuck
After getting a battery for it the dimming and brightness wouldn't change. It was stuck on full brightness. The selectors wouldn't even turn off the dot. Returning the dot tomorrow.

Great value for money
Mounting this unit to a Ruger 57 was a revelation. It holds zero, the adjustments are precise, and the intensity range is quite wide. So far, it's holding up. Saved myself $50 by getting it on Amazon.
