good, meaty wrench
i have had this now for about two weeks. i carry it on the job in my pocket. it replaced an abused craftsman 6 inch adjustable. at first i wasnt crazy about it because it is significantly bigger than any other 6 inch adjustable i own and is therefore a bit more cumbersome to carry. however, the jaws slide open and closed so smoothly and i can grab anything that an 8 inch adjustable will grab (it opens to about 1 1/8" or so!) that i am starting to really like this tool. the grip is nice and comfy and the hole in the end is big enough to bend tabs or pins if needed. so far so good.update 12/16/15: this is still a really good adjustable wrench. i keep seeing the reviews comparing it to a crescent. if you have ever actually owned and used a crescent brand adjustable (like industrial use, not used it once to build a plastic cabinet at home), you will be truly impressed with the lack of backlash. however, this is still an adjustable wrench and it DOES have backlash. if you dont want backlash, try using the correct sized wrench/socket.i do have one complaint, though its not a star killer. i got a 6 inch so that i didnt have to lug around an 8 incher. this bahco is just as bulky and heavy, if not more so, than my proto 8" click stop, while not having the leverage of the slightly longer handle. i will probably end up with a 6" click stop soon since if i am at work, i have an adjustable wrench on me...and while the bahco is a great tool and performs well, it is quite beefy for pocket carry. if you carry a pouch or push a tool cart, that wont be an issue and the bahco is worth the weight due to its ruggedness and extra wide jaw.

Great wrench
This is an awesome wrench. I really like how smooth it adjusts and how thin the jaws are. Also, the imperial and metric measurements on the body come in pretty handy

Super smooth!!
Ok this is the smoothest crescent you'll ever use. The ultra wide jaw and thin design is amazing. I highly recommend!!

Best Wrench EVER!
I first found these Bahco wrenches year ago in Sweeden. Now they are readily available here in the US. I give them to my technicians when they prove their mechanical aptitude. They have become status symbols.Love them since day 1 26 years ago.I wish the alligator version was available but i cant seem to find them (other than the 5 or 6 in my toolboxy from 26 years ago). I have overtorqued these wrenches to epoch proportions and have never broken one (I like them too much to try to break one intentionally). I dont recommend you repeat those circumstances but if it happens, I would hope you have a Bahco in hand.Try not to break them, you can only survive stupid so many times.I am sure I have used up my quota.

8" is a great value for the money
Build quality is apparent when you first pick the wrench up. 1 1/2" Wide Jaw on a 8" wrench is awesome. Smooth operation & doesn't back off the size during use.I want to buy the 10" but at double the price of the 8" the value for the money isn't the same.
