Question 1

If i fill this barrel with tnt and suspend it over a desert road on a trip-wire, would it hold adequate explosives to kill a very fast roadrunner?

Is anyone using this with a Dust Deputy Cyclone?  If so, have you encountered any issues doing this? Thanks

If you go to the Lumberjocks site and look me up, Kelly Craig, you can see my post of a dust deputy mounted on the 20 gallon version of this.

I modified the vacuum and put it on top the DD, which did away with the between the vac intake and the DD top. It made the system a little more efficient and a lot more sleek. It's a really nice package.

Like others, I had to mount plywood under the top to stiffen it. I didn't like how it pulled down when I blocked the input.  The 20 gallon one only needed a 10" diameter disk with cut outs for the DD port.  To that, I added spokes to account for the differing thicknesses of the lid stiffners.

Can some give the outer diameter of the upper half and bottom half? Also inner diameter of both? Thank you

Can I use this drum fro bulk corn, rice, wheat and bean storage?  Is it "Food Grade"

(From the Product Description) "It complies with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulation 177.1520 regarding food contact surfaces." I didn't look up the regulation, but most food comes in HDPE plastic. The drum I just received was airtight. There is a foam gasket on the lid, and I could hear the pressure release as I lifted the lid off. Also, the sides of the drum were sucked in which leads me to believe the internal air was compressed somehow.The drum does have a fairly strong plastic smell, and the inside surface has a somewhat rough texture. I would feel OK about storing grain in them, but maybe not water. It seems like keeping them in a cool consistent temperature would be a good idea.
