I have a few different blades, I make bread at least 1 X a week. This blade is well thought out-the blade lives inside the wood disk-the disk is rotated to open and then to close. It rotates open to change the blade. It also comes in an attractive case--red--and I can find it in my cupboard. I use mine at least 1X a week. Worth the money.

I love this little device. Very simply made, the wood is nice and works very well. The case for it is also very sturdy and compact and big enough to stick the other blades in. The only thing I might change is to make the blade come out a little further so that I would have more of a edge to work with, maybe decreasing the diameter of the wood to make it smaller would work, otherwise it is great and you cannot beat the price. Shipping was quick too.

Lame is very easy to use, fits well in my hand and maneuverability scores my loaves exceptionally well. Storage case even fits lame with blade on and the extra blades that comes with purchase.

When received it was stuck together, had to pry it apart with a knife blade. Inserted the razor blade and it would not slip back in due to the roughness, very poorly made. I would walk away from this product

I started with long handled lame. It's good for certain scores, however if you want to do more delicate scoring, working on fine design, you need this type. Actually, you can get this one only and be all set.Good quality, easy to adjust and store.

This is my 5th lame, and it is the best! Very easy to use, but you must be careful; very sharp razor.This is the only lame that I've been able to achieve professional results with.
