Honestly, it’s difficult discerning the quality of this machine because my apartment is big, but I think it works. I haven’t replaced the filter and I got it in may of 2016, I think. Can’t remember as I type this, but the recommended replacing of filter is after 6 months. So, I guess I need a new filter. I don’t use the WiFi features. I guess it’s great as a fan, but why pay $500 for a fan?! Again, I guess it works, but difficult to discern due to the size of my apartment. I respect the technology of the company, and all their products seem to be very quality and efficient, so it’s easy for me to trust the technology. It’d be nice if it cost $300. I honestly don’t see why it costs more than $300.

Great cooking odor remover.
Love the blue color, the ease of installation and easy app installation (with Samsung note 5). From out of the box to start the unit took me a couple of minutes, it took me longer to take the unit out from the packagings. The installation is literally just click the top part with the bottom part, plug in the electric wire and press the start button. Also, I love how installing the app automatically register the purchase and start the warranty registration. No need to fill out any card, or any other separate forms. Now, aside from this, the main reason why I bought this was for the portability reason. I do have a Pro Health series from iQair which I love, but it's huge and I couldn't take it up and down the stairs at home easily. So I need a second unit, portable one that can filter the air and smoke on the lower levels of the house. This unit fit the criteria, it's very light that I can pick it up with one hand and take it up and down the stairs. Now, the product itself is pretty good on filtering the air and smoke, but it's not meant for a big room. I still need to move the unit from one place to another, because I have an open space layout. And in the basement, during auto function, it sensed the air is good, but I still can smell the 'basement' due to lack of air circulation. Thus the 4 stars rating, because I don't think the auto sensor is good enough. I'll keep using the product, and maybe also prop it high on a table maybe, to see whether the auto sensor will work better or whether it will circulate better air. I do like the swivel function, it's a bonus, because this can act as a fan during warm/hot weather.Update: after using this more often, I found this air purifier really helpful when cooking. A few weeks ago we cooked fish, and my kitchen started to smell fishy very quickly. After I turn on the purifier with speed 4, the odor is definitely disappeared in less than 15 minutes. Usually the house reeks of fishy smell for some time, and I can smell no foul odor when I am moving from one room to another anymore. This has been repeated several times with different kinds of cooking and we are very happy with the result.

Purifier fine, app is horrible. Update: App getting better.
The purifier works as expected but for a device that costs this much I expected a better app. App has to reconnect each time it's launched and sometimes requires a complete set up again. Graph displays the wrong day, previous day. Even the outside conditions seem to be delayed most of the time. I have given up on using the app and just use the remote.UPDATE: The update to the app seems to have fixed many of the previous problems. The graph now displays the correct day although there is still some confusing overlap in the graph in going from one day to the next but not a big deal. I haven't yet had to reset to get a connection so overall, an improvement.

Expensive but worth it...
I use this fan right next to my easy chair. It runs a lot. What i like is that at relatively low speeds, which i use, it is virtually silent. I went through the cheaper $60 or so tower fans and they all were a bit noisy. Not so with the Dyson fan. It was obviously a lot more expensive but I figured it was something I would use several hours a day, almost every day, so I splurged. It was worth it.

Will not connect to my 2.4 ghz network
Simply will not generate its internet signal no matter how long I push the power button

Dyson is great
the design look and functionality of this product is above expectation. sometimes you get what you pay for and in this case that is so. I had a dyson vacuum which I was not that enamored with however this I love and the design is beautiful

Great product but EXPENSIVE replacement filter
Does a great job of cleaning air and very quiet but be in for a big surprise when in less than 6 months you will have to pay more than $170 to replace the filter!!!

love this purifier
love this purifier, have had it about a month now & it seems to be working well, it's definitely keeping the air clean around here! my allergies have not been as bad since I started using this & that's huge for me considering I have three cats & a dog with plenty of dander! time will tell how long it lasts.. but for now it's been worth the money spent, they're pricey but I've had pretty good luck with my Dyson products & don't mind spending a bit more for the quality product, thanks again for quick service/delivery - I am a happy customer!

Product is what it is, being Dyson so a bit on the expensive side. Connectivity to internet is challenging as it requires compatible network connection, (namely 2.4 MHz).Minimum assembly required and works without any problem.
