Save you fingers! in the kitchen and bath!
Great product for people like me who have arthritis in their fingers. Cleans pots and pans and dishes of stuck on food particles. If you are a petite person it may not be the ideal for you as it is a bit heavy but for the rest of us it is very helpful. Did I mention that it is water proof? It will clean other furfaces like tubs, too. All round all purpose tool. For that last stubborn particle put a brillo pad or scrubbin cloth or just salt between the particle and the device and it will clean it fast. This way it does not take as much pressure, easier on the wrist. It is a work horse! Don't forget the refills.

... had a Black and Decker hand-held cleaner that worked great, but I needed a replacement
I had a Black and Decker hand-held cleaner that worked great, but I needed a replacement. My concern with this one was that it was battery operated (as they all seem to be now). This was the best one I could find through my searches. It was well worth the effort. This product works great and has sufficient power despite being battery operated. Easy to use and clean up. Best part is that you don't have to worry about charging -- you can just replace the batteries when needed.

Can't find them in stores I frequent
I love this little gadget - I have some arthritis in my hands and have trouble gripping a scouring pad for a long time. The first time I used it was to take crud - a lot of crud - off of a stove top and burner pans and where the food spilled underneath the pans. Worked like a champ, but ate up the little scrubber that came with it.I went to Home Depot, and tried the cleaning section - nothing. They sent me to the electric tool department, where they thought I was crazy. I tried Target, and found nothing. I don't shop at Walmart, and I rarely get to Ace Hardware, which were the other two choices I thought might work. So - I was glad to find these here!I have the first replacement on, and it works just like the original. .The refill seems to be going strong but I haven't tackled anything as nasty as the first job.All in all, I will certainly buy them again when this pack wears out!

I know why you're looking for something like this
You're thinking that if you just had an item like this one, your bathroom would be so much cleaner and you would suddenly not be negligent or lazy. I catch myself falling into this trap sometimes, and I don't think I'm the only one.The good:- It's waterproofThe bad:- Only one speed, and it's pretty slow- Small coverage area- Apply any pressure and it gets even slowerUnless you're buying this because you've got a legitimate handicap or other physical problem, you'd be better off just getting off your butt and scrubbing by hand. Honestly it would take less time and effort to clean your tub with a toothbrush - this scrubber turns an already crappy chore and makes it all go one speed, and that speed is slower - like thirty seconds for each tile! Save your money and just get in there and do it yourself!

Wow - a miracle worker for old porcelain!
I live in an old San Francisco victorian, which means plenty of charm - but plenty of old grungy surfaces. When I moved in 2 years ago, I noticed that the porcelain in my bathroom just never really seemed totally clean, despite how much I scrubbed with a sponge and various products (comet, lysol bathroom cleaners, even bleach). There just seemed to be years of residue built up on the porcelain and rust stains around the fixtures that I couldn't get rid of. I'd even hired professional cleaners who couldn't get it to be sparkling white. On a whim I decided to buy this little tool, figuring it wasn't too pricey. It arrived last night and I couldn't wait to try it. Folks, this is a miracle worker! I wet the surfaces and sprinkled on some "Barkeeper's Friend" cleaner (also recommended from Amazon) and flipped this guy on. The red pad attachment buzzed away and within 10 seconds I'd completely lifted an old rust stain on my sink. Whoa! Within 15 minutes of playing with it, my sink area was transformed and the whitest I had ever seen it. I moved into tackling the tub, and the results were the same. I really couldn't believe how quickly this was releasing years of stains from the surface. All you have to do is hold it on the stained area and apply gentle pressure, and all the work is done for you!I haven't tried the brush head yet, but that's on my list for this weekend (exciting life, I know). Super happy with this!

Just okay....
So, it all depends on what your needs are. I bought this expecting to clean grout lines but it just didn't work for that purpose. What I will say is that if you need a good spot cleaner this will definitely work for that purpose. I have tiles in the kitchen, bathrooms, and basement and I bought it for my tile floors. Definitely took up the grime from my ivory colored kitchen tiles (yes, I know, what was I thinking with light colored floors in a kitchen, believe me I'm paying for it). And it does have enough power even though it's battery operated. If you're someone that can't scrub if you have arthritis or the like, this is proabbly good for you as it does most of the work. This does come with two brush heads, the red brillo pad type one shown and an actual white plastic bristle head. Easily interchangeable and I've seen plenty of other options for brush heads available on Amazon. Also comes with the batteries. However if you're able to put elbow grease in, then a regular scrubber brush will work fine if not better. I recommend OXO brand scrubbers, they're awesome. This is definitely not worth the money I paid for it.
