Excellent small expresso desk
This product arrived timely and in the original packaging (ie no additional protective material). I am really pleased with the packing layout and material as every piece was protected and the layout organization was simply excellent! Every item was well identified and the instructions were very good. I am very pleased with the product and the color is a great match with our bedroom furniture.

Perfect piece of furniture
This product arrived well packaged and on time. We were looking for a piece of furniture, rather than just a computer table and as we have a Mac (all in one), we didn't want anything too big. We have a small baby, so sturdiness was important too.Well, it ticks all boxes. As usual, Amazon had it priced the cheapest, by at least $20.Pros:It is sturdy and made of solid wood. Even the hardboard at the back of the drawer is not too flimsy. It looks good and the drawer hides the mouse and keyboard, so it is tidy.It is easy to assemble- even the drawer backing had holes for the screws (yes, not nails) which attach it too the back.Cons:No place for a printer (which is not a problem for us, as we do not have a printer!) However, most printers are wireless now, so you can hide them away and still have your computer in the front room/somewhere visible.Wood still smells of stain (which will wear off eventually -at least it's a fresh, new product!)Leaning on the drawer to type is a little awkward, due to the raised lip at the front of the drawer.Overall, this desk is great if you do not want an obvious computer desk in a visible area. It is compact and pretty. We felt this was a bargain for the price and a perfect piece of furniture.

Mostly Good Quality Desk, Excellent Customer Service
I'm mostly happy with this desk! Here's a quick pros and cons list:Pros:- The espresso color is nearly a perfect match with my dark walnut bed frame and looks quite nice.- Many pieces (not all) are solid wood, which I wasn't even expecting for the price!- Price was great, came out to $101 at my time of purchase.- Instructions were mostly clear and easy to understand.- Size is perfect - I am using it as a desk/nightstand next to my bed!- Customer service is excellent - here's why I needed to contact them...Cons:- the two pieces attached to the sides that hold up the drawer door turned out to be skimpy and weak - my dad and I were just at the last step of sliding the tray into the desk, so we start carefully sliding it in, and somehow we miss, and the tray drops (like, 2 inches from the drawer flap) and the whole drawer flap breaks off the desk and breaks the pieces attached. That drawer flap is actually quite heavy, so we were both disappointed and surprised at how soft and breakable the pieces that hold it are.Sooo here's the happy ending - we contacted Convenience Concepts directly, put in a request for the required parts, and they shipped them out within a few business days. Communication was great, shipment was prompt. Unfortunately we had to disassemble the whole desk and put it back together, but we were extra super careful this time around. However we were still disappointed with that design flaw in the desk (small pieces of soft wood supporting a heavy piece), and also that it is just a tad wobbly, but we hope that it will hold up with regular use!Knocked a star off for the weak/soft wood, but otherwise the desk looks great and is serving its function. Very very happy with the customer service though - we were relieved they lived up to their guarantee on their website!

Great small desk!
I bought this for my Mom for her all in one Desktop computer to sit on in her room. She had limited room for a desk and this one fit perfectly. It was reasonably easy to put together ... especially for me because I had my son do it, LOL ... and is very nice looking and good quality. My mom loves the pull out keyboard drawer. A great buy and the price was lower than same desk was at Walmart.com.

Don't expect the color to be what is stated
The good, easy assembly, good construction. The BAD, the color is nothing near what is stated, it's yellow/brown on a nice day, way more yellow than brown. Stain is not even on all pieces because they didn't use the same wood on the plywood pieces so it stains differently. I'm going to keep it and may strip and stain it. Just my .02¢ worth.

Darn. It looked so perfect!
Good Points: Nice size; ships and arrives on time; good design idea; good price.Needs work Points: The color of the finish doesn't match on all the parts; the front ledge on the keyboard pull out interferes with comfortable and accurate typing; it doesn't come with all the tools you need to assemble it - you need a Phillips head screwdriver; it is too high/tall to sit and properly read an iMac screen (must tilt head to look up - which is really hard with bifocals); the back panel is flimsy and the plethora of small screws that hold it in do not have lead holes so they tend to be hard to start and keep straight, the heads are not recessed so they catch things, and they look crummy; it's a computer desk, but there are zero holes for cords to pass through; the keyboard pull out tray bounces a bit, making typing more awkward; it is top heavy so only fairly stable, then adding the computer raises the center of gravity, so it is less stable. After taking an hour to assemble, we don't want to go to all the work to unassemble to return it. We will cut a few inches off the legs to lower it, and put a pad under the keyboard to raise it to ledge level. We'll see how it holds up. We would not recommend it or buy again.

Fairly priced, solid design. A good choice for limited spaces.
Very easy assembly (two screwdrivers are the only tools required). Convenience Concepts 90102 Mission Desk The instructions are clearly and legibly printed. Parts are well machined so they fit properly, with no missing connectors or pieces. Once put together (less than 25 minutes), the desk stands solidly and level.Note that the finish is a slightly lighter tone than illustrated, but matches quite nicely with other dark hued furniture. There's ample space for any large laptop, or even a couple of notebooks side by side. The keyboard tray slides quite smoothly on its tracks, and may be used as storage for small items (e.g. mice, external hard drives). However, if used for this purpose, bear in mind that the tray has no rear 'wall', so it shouldn't be opened too brusquely. This compact desk is a ideal choice for a tiny apartment or where space is restrained. With its understated knobs and simple design, it should fit well with almost any decor. Convenience Concepts 90102 Mission Desk

Love this desk.
I love the way this desk looks in my living room and how nicely it fits in the small corner. I was a little worried that there would not be enough room for my laptop and screen but it fits perfectly. It was packaged well but had a few little scratches but not noticeable.

nicely made, fits in any space
Lovely little desk that fits in small spaces. good looking and sturdy. the only thing is the drawer sits a little off center but that may have been our poor building skills.
