Works great.
I use these during my daughter's softball games (those early season games get awfully chilly). I like the Zippo handwarmer better than the rechargable kind. The heat seems to be more natural or gentle. This heater can get plenty hot if you'd like it to, so keep it in the pouch. It's easy to light and take care of. I haven't had any problem getting it lit with a standard flame, unlike some other reviews. This is a great value. Pick up some Zippo Lighter Fluid and you're good to go!

Super easy to use and runs more than 12 hours long
It's incredible that over a hundred-year patented technology is still keeping us warm all over the world. It starts off with the gentle warmth and within, say, thirty minutes it gets really hot to touch, almost burning hot. That's where the included cloth sack comes in to protect us. It's super easy to use, but it seems that I have to try lighting the hand warmer twice to kick start it every single time. One thing we can't and must not do is overfill it. You won't see any flame comes out of it when you lit with a lighter. If you see a flame coming out of the warmer, then that's the result of overfilling it with the fuel. Dangerous. You'll have a fuel burn on your precious skin here and there for sure. It runs more than 12-hour long with the measured fuel. Yeah, it smells with the burning fuel because it's not an electric warmer. Since there's no switch to kill it, use two-folded aluminum foil to suffocate the warmer. Within a few to several minutes, the warmer gets to the room temperature cold. Do not use a plastic bag to kill it for god's sake.

Great replacement for handwarmers
For starters, I've been using the zippo handwarmer I bought in 2020 and just now had to replace the catalytic burner. I definitely got more than the 75 or 80 uses out of it advertised by Zippo. These hand warmers are so good my wife and daughter wanted one of their own because it was so cold Halloween night and camping in Leadville, CO about two weeks ago they were happy to have their own as it rained and snowed overnight every day we were there. Unfortunately, while fishing one of thise days I messed up my burner. Just a heads up to save you all any headaches, don't use those 10 second safety matches REI sells. It burned through my burner material and I was out my favorite hand warmer the entire trip. I replaced it with this official replacement and the warmer worked like it was brand new all over again. Honestly, after the initial price of the hand warmer I've only spent 8 bucks on a bottle of lighter fluid and now 8 bucks for this replacement burner over the course of two years. I still have a quarter of that lighter fluid left. I'll take spending 8 bucks per year to keep my hands warm in the Colorado cold over buying numerous boxes of disposables any day.

Works well and low odor
I bought this for my girlfriend because she is from a warm country and is forever cold in Canada. She hangs it around her neck in a little linen bag that we picked up. This keeps her core warm and we add a couple drops of mint essential oil in with the fuel so you can't smell the burning naphtha.
