This is one of the best exfoliants I’ve ever used! I struggle with breakouts and redness, and this product has made such a noticeable difference. The 2% BHA helps keep my pores clear and smooth without being harsh or irritating. It feels lightweight, almost like water, and sinks right into the skin without leaving any sticky residue. I use it a few times a week, and it keeps my skin clearer, calmer, and with less redness. My breakouts heal faster and new ones don’t pop up as often. It’s gentle enough for daily use if needed, and I love that it doesn’t dry out my skin. Definitely a must-have in my skincare routine!

i've been eyeing Paula's Choice BHA products for months now and could never justify spending $20+ on a toner/acne treatment, even if my skin was acting up as much as it has been. i took the plunge a few days ago and ordered this extra strength BHA treatment to help combat my moderate comedonal acne (mostly nasty whiteheads covering my jawline ): ) that even the best makeup couldn't hide. i received this product saturday evening and immediately cleansed my skin and applied, it felt a little greasy, but i read that this feeling is just due to the helpful penetrating ingredients, so i wasn't worried. it almost instantly started to reduce redness of my existing enflamed acne and scars, and the next morning i noticed a few less comedones and that my pores were a bit smaller/clearer. each time i've used it, my skin had gotten better, and it has not yet dried out my skin, even with twice daily use. in fact, my skin feels hydrated and not tight at all after i use this. this morning was the 6th time i've used this since receiving it, and i noticed something seriously amazing (and maybe a little gross) -- after cleansing, as i wiped this BHA across my skin with a cotton round, comedones started popping out of my pores and clinging to my cotton! i've never seen this with any toner or treatment i've used in the past. i almost cried. i have been so sensitive about my skin over the last few years, being a college student and nearly full-time server. i see so many people daily, and it's really been a struggle trying to keep my skin under control, that is, until now. i will caution you though, that this has brought a few breakouts to the surface of my skin, but is working to clear them quickly while reducing redness, itchiness, and soreness of both the new breakouts and every one of my existing breakouts. if you're iffy about the price of the PC products, i say don't be -- they are completely, 100% worth it.

Been using this for years. It doesn't irritate, even on areas with rosacea. No alcohol or fragrance. A few drops goes a long way, so the bottle lasts a long time. It smooths the skin and slowly reduces stubborn nose blackheads.

Really works my face feels better

This stuff is AMAZING. I use it with the Skin Balancing Oil-Reducing Cleanser and my really sensitive skin isn't irritated by it. Physical/abrasive exfoliants (including my Clarisonic w/ a sensitive skin brush and less expensive knock-offs) leave me with red patchy skin… I do use my brush a of couple times a week at night but with this, I don't have the same kind of flaky skin even in the dry winters. My flaky/ oily/dry/blotchyskin that was constantly broken out, I had a breakout that wouldn't clear up for over a month in the same spot & bumpy skin texture and horrible blackheads have cleared up. It's also lightened old acne scars. I’ve tried tons of other products before this. New things, things I used in the past that have cleared my skin up when I was in my teens and early-mid 20s all w/o luck. I’ve been hearing about this stuff for a few years now in skincare groups and it gets great reviews so I decided to give it a shot. I'm glad I did finally. I'm super protective of my bottles of this. Worth the extra bit of money. I spent so much more looking for something that would work until finding this. The 4 stars isn't a problem w/ the product. My problem is the bottle it’s in. I went out of town the day after I got it, so the bottle was basically full when I packed it. I could tell it leaking was going to be an issue if I didn’t tape it up. Both on the way to where I went and for my return flight, I duct taped it so much that getting it off took about 10 minutes. I made a seal inside the lid, taped every gap from the bottle to the cap, taped the cap shut, etc., and it STILL leaked. Before I left for my return flight, I had 2/3 bottle left. Got home, unpacked, I’m at 1/2 bottle or slightly less. I’m pretty irritated to have spent a going amount of money for it and then travel, tape it so there’s no way it should leak, but in a 5 days I have 1/2 bottle left because of it. It may work awesome but I’m sure there’s other products that do and don’t leak all over. I’ll post a picture of how much I taped it and it still leaked. (Edited to add stars because I love the product, it's one of the few things that keeps my skin clear — just beware when you travel & buy an empty travel size bottle & fill that up and pack it instead. I travel pretty often so I needed a solution, that works great. 🙂 Still rating 4/5 because of the bottle.)

This product has helped clear my pores and shrink them! I’ve bought for my daughters too I loved so much. We have been using for months now and will continue to use in our routines.
