Capacitor Repair Kit for Samsung LCD/Plasma TV

I repaired my Samsung TV by using these parts, and it worked great.

Got these to fix blown capacitors in my samsung 52" LCD tv and so far they worked great. Once the old capacitors were out of the tv, installing new ones were easy with some solder. Easy fix and saved me lots of money.Just a tip, you'll need about a 40-60 watt soldering iron to do the trick right, along with some soldering wick.

Easy fix for my Samsung Plasma TV power supply. Model FPT5084X. Google search to see the 4 capacitors that need to be replaced and how to do it. If your TV just cycles trying to turn on with the red light flashing but unable to power up it is most likely the power supply. Use rosin core solder to replace the capacitors. Fairly easy fix if you can solder. Use a soldering iron 60 watts and up not a soldering gun. Use solder wick to remove the solder as you are pulling the bad capacitors. Put the wick over the solder of the bad capacitors and apply the heat and the solder will go into the wick for removal. You can then remove and replace the bad capacitors.

My 40" Samsung was slow to start(5-10 minutes). Found an article online that described changing capacitors. Ordered this kit, came next day. Changed 4 capacitors, a little tech knowledge required, back to instant on. Great kit, great service. Thank you !

It turned out that the capacitor values weren't the correct ones for my model. I've put in for a refund, and ordered it elsewhere. Lesson learned-beware of blanket, general product application statements and put eyes on the values of the capacitors on the board first, then only order those STATED values in a kit. They looked like fine caps, too. Alas, caveat emptor!!!

Everything worked the first time! Four capacitors were so bad they scorched the circuit board.I replaced all 9 capacitors as the other five started to bulge as well.My 51 inch had all the issues, took 20 minutes plus to turn on. Sometimes it just would not, pink dots... The works.All the repair kits on Amazon include the same capacitors. So no reason to pay more.Great product cost me $12 to execute the repair Samsung wanted $250+ to do.

I tried to fix my TV with this kit, but there were NO usable capacitors. It came with what appears to be fine capacitors, but there were none even close to the required ratings.
