Q: What color pencil would you recommend for gray hair?

I'd suggest you use 2 colors, if your hair was brown then I'd suggest 1 med. brown and 1 black. I'm also older and have found in my reading that darker eyebrows help a woman look younger, but be sure to use short quick lite strokes, not a solid line. Also I've read that wider eyebrows also help a woman look younger. There are a number of videos about how to apply eyebrows on older women. Hope that helps.

Brunette! I'm also soft brown in ABH wiz and I found ash brown and chocolate to be too light and too warm. The brunette shade matches closest!
