For the Dream!
I'm 60 years old with a bad knee and a huge Ben Gravy Fan. This is my second Ben Gravy board. So I'll compare it to the 6'4" Performer. First off I have to say I have like twenty boards. All hand shapes. Form Al Merrick to Marc Andreini. The 6'4" is truly a quiver killer. Ridden it in everything to 1-2 slop to 3 foot overhead. Catches waves like a 7'+ mid length but surfs like a shortboard.Enter 5'8"Retro. Much more aggressive turns. Pumps down the line faster, but loses speed quicker than the 6'4" Better in waves that stand up. Love it but not as versatile for me as the 6'4" Performer. But still well worth the money. Both duck dive great. The be honest. Both of them look less than high performance. But they definitely perform as well as many of my boards, and way better than dozens of boards I've owned over the years. I haven't ridden anything but a soft-top for six months.Comfy on the ribs and when they hit you in the head.Main spot: Indicator. Santa Barbara County.

Missing Parts and no customer service
Missing one fin screw and the fin posts seem to big for the board holes. Feels like the board may split when forcing post into hole. Haven't tried yet because missing a screw and it's going back anyways. Also no customer service available through Amazon so will be forced to return the board. Really irritating when u go to use a product and it isn't right... especially as a christmas gift. Major thumbs down.

Super bummed. Board arrived smashed.
Nose of board arrived smashed but the packaging was totally intact. Super bummed they would ship a product that was obviously defective. Going to return it!
