Excellent Value
These are slightly cheaper alternatives to Rite In Rain that you don't feel quite as bad about using daily. I obviously still maximize my very square mm of writing space on these but I definitely don't feel quite as bad if I waste a few lines. I do wish they would make some A6/compact binder size paper or at least some larger notebooks. But I'll keep buying these as long as they make them and keep the price below Rite In Rain. What I like is you can accidentally wash a check list in your pocket, your pages don't rip up at the slightest misuse, things like that. So I use them a lot in place of plain paper. Obviously regular paper is often good enough for jotting things down and maybe this is a waste of money but I usually start my list from the bottom of the page and cut off the pages where the list ends with a knife... So I get many list per page. I keep these pads all over the place. I do have larger Rite In Rain in my First Aid Kits for recording vitals. Now let me just stress something. Both these and Rite in the Rain will become saturated if you soak them in water or stand in the rain for 10 hours with them exposed. This is a fact. These are actually wood based paper. I am not a material scientist and I don't know what they do to make them hydrophobic but they do dry out and they do hold the ink. I would recommend using a pencil or a waterproof ink if you are absolutely certain you need the contents secure. But the paper WILL be usable when you let it dry out. I guarantee you if you take a similar Meade note pad and soak or submerge it for 10 hours it's probably toast. Likewise, if you run a sheet of Meade note paper through the wash it's 80/20 it's a goner. While the Gloryfire is almost always perfectly usable. These pads are a great value. Work well. They just need more size and paper options.

Great for a cook
I use this in a kitchen setting and oil, sweat, water... This notepad does not give any second thoughts. I can rely upon it no matter where I am or what I'm doing. Granted the front of it will get greasy if I have been handling stuff. But it's perfect. I can flip through pages easily.

Very pleased
I am a commercial truck driver and my trailers have gauges that I need to write down readings every time I pick up a trailer. Obviously the weather does not always cooperate. I am very pleased with the purchase. And I will continue to use this product

Waterproof also means ink doesn't stick well depending on the pen used
I bought these based on great reviews. I was a little unsure of the waterproof need given they were being used indoors. My review has nothing to do with waterproof ability, so if you need to use these in a wet environment look at other reviews. I found these very difficult to use with an ink pen. I had to press very hard on the paper and rewrite words multiple times to get the ink to appear. Using a Sharpie or standard Bic style ink pen did seem to work much better. I use a better quality office gel pen and these just don't work on this paper.

Good product, good price, packaged well, fast shipping, 5/5star
Satisfied customer.Handy pocket size and sturdy design.I’m not too worried about weather proof (it is a nice added feature).I just needed something that doesn’t fall apart after writing down important notes, and this does the trick.
