Good feel, no shedding, all around a good brush. Pretty brushes and pretty packaging, almost seems collectable. We have saved the boxes for brush storage. Not our first time purchasing these and will be getting more in the future

I'm new to gouache and I'm so glad I got these brushes.The 5 brushes come in adorable packaging that keeps the brushes safe from damage. The synthetic bristles make water control simple and I love the feel of painting jelly gouache with these brushes. Although the paint travels up the bristles if I'm using them for mixing so it's a bit tricky to clean. A bit of bar soap and some patient effort and they clean up a treat. After a few paintings, I figured out how to get this to not happen and now I can clean them with a swish in some water.I've been painting with (and most artists would say abusing) these brushes daily for a few weeks now and so far no bristles have bent or fallen out.The only thing I'm sad about is the himi jelly gouache stains the bristles. I miss how white and beautiful they were when I started. But they still work stained, and I think this is more an issue with the paint than the brushes.
