Very Good!
Love the matte finish, so much better look and feel all around than the stock glossy finish of the uncovered Surface screen. (I understand the reasons Microsoft did this, and the glossy screen is an ideal surface for a screen protector as the Mr Shield product, which every tablet-owner should have anyway.) Sensitivity was not affected enough to make any difference for me at all, and add to that the improved feel, glare reduction, and screen protection I'm very happy with this product so far. The folks at Mr Shield have provided everything in tools and instructions needed to properly apply these screen protectors, and for the price of competing products, most who only give you one protector, you get three from Mr Shield. So if you goof on the first one, it's no big deal. And the fact is, applying a screen protector on a 12" tablet is certainly more difficult and requires more precision than a putting 5" screen protector on a smart phone. If you find after your first attempt it's just too difficult, it's probably best to find a friend or family member to help you with it. In my experience, bubbles were few and they smoothed right out with no problem. Dust is a bit more difficult problem. You really need to get your screen COMPLETELY clean and free of dust if you want a pristine screen protector application. Make sure to follow the video instructions to the letter, and you can still go back and get those few dust specs you may have missed. Even if you can't get every last tiny dust particle, you'll really only see them when the screen is off anyway.

A lot better than what I feared
My screen protectors just arrived today! The installation went smooth and the product is great that I just had to come on to leave some awesome feedback. I did not waste any of my screen protectors. The installation took only one try. I had no bubbles after I finished. I had to do it quick though because I live in the attic and my room gets dusty. So advice to all, practice aligning the screen before you start! It really helps. There are some feedback saying the screen protector is too wide and that it covers the speakers of the Surface Pro 3. Honestly, if you are a perfectionist like me and if you keep measuring and aligning the screen protector (I did it 3 or 4 times) before you let it rest on the screen, it does NOT cover the speakers. Matter of fact, if you get the alignment off by just a little, it'll probably just cover one side very slightly, but that doesn't affect the sound emission from the speakers at all. One review down rated this product for not having cut-out holes for the mic and the camera. I can agree with that, but that would make installing the screen protector more challenging since I would have to align the cut-out holes too. The cut-out rectangle for the camera and mic is good enough for me. There are some reviews claiming that the screen protector affects the touch screen capacity. I did not experience that. Matter of fact, when I was watching the video and practicing aligning the screen protector, I kept accidentally pausing the video whenever I touched the screen, just like how it would have been without the screen protector. Even before applying the screen protector at how thick it was, it did not affect the touch screen at all. There are some reviews claiming that the screen protector affects the color of the screen. It does only because it "simulates the texture of the original LCD screen" and it "reduces the strain of your eyes by blocking 99% of the UV emitted from your LCD display". I'm quoting right from the product because it's true, it works, and I love both features. With that said, it just dims the screen a little bit. Really though, it's not even noticeable. The screen protector does not add additional colors to screen. When I removed the top cover of the screen protector, I fell in love. Microsoft should thank Mr. Shield personally because the issue of the glaring screen is forever solved at an affordable price!

Useful as a protector, not so much for glares
One of my pet peeves is having a glare on my screen when I'm studying or using my surface for a long period of time. It's also annoying when you have multiple people looking at your screen and one person doesn't see what you are trying to show them due to the glare. I thought it was time for me to start looking for screen protectors. I spent several days looking for one and finally found this. This screen protector comes in a hard cardboard-like packaging so you won't have to worry about it bending prior to it getting to you. It has these easy to use little tabs that comes on the side so you can easily apply the protector to your surface. Make sure you pay attention of which one to peel first otherwise it has potential of being very difficult. If you are anything like me, I'm terrible at applying screen protectors! I always will have a bubble in the middle or one that is difficult to remove. If you take too long and bend the protector in the opposite direction, it'll give you more bubbles. Not sure if that makes sense, but if you apply the protector fast and use a straight edge like a rule or even a credit card, you can do a great job with minimal bubbles. What I liked about this protector is that you can pull it open to remove a lint that possibly flew in and it'll stick back into place. You don't have to worry about the adhesive coming off. Another thing I like about this is that when my friends point to my screen with their pens, the screen is protected. The reason for my 4 stars instead of 5 is that it does not entirely remove the glare as advertised. Don't get my wrong, it minimizes the glare, but it doesn't really remove it the way I though it would. It's best function is scratch protection. If you are sitting with the light behind you, for example sunlight or ceiling light, you will have a glare. There's just no going around it. I must say of course, it's not as bad if you didn't have this shield, but it's not entirely for glares.

Love it. Great Quality. Applies easily, great post sales support iif needed.
Wow! Best screen protector I ever installed. The kit has all you need to ensure a very clean lint free and dust free screen before applying, those blue tapes to remove small particles are the best. Even did it in my office at work that is carpeted and AC vent blowing but I would suggest in a clean environment no AC blowing as you possible can. I got the Matte finish and it is absolutely perfect, works fine with the pen, no noticeable change in tap sensitivity what so ever. Here are my steps that worked for me without any problems. 1. Day before, I cleaned my Surface Pro screen with Rain-X glass cleaner and a microfiber towel (bought the one that says glass cleaner + protectant). Used dry end of towel a couple times to remove all residue left from cleaner. 2. Day two I used dry microfiber towel to re buff the screen again (no need to apply RainX again), then buffed with cleaning cloth from package. 3. Lightly spray screen with compressed air. 4. Use supplied blue tape from package and spot pick as much as you can all over the screen to pick up any tiny particles. 5. Apply screen protector as video described from Mr. Shield website.

Acceptable but just barely
Although my package says "anti-glare", my protector seems to be severe clear. That's not a problem for me. It probably does reduce the glare but I cannot appreciate it very much. My big problem was the installation. I watched the video 4 times and watched two other videos for installing tablet protectors. They all were helpful. Problem #1: my screen has numerous miniscule scratches. I have a Snugg case that undoubtedly contributed to some of the scratches on the surface. Problem #2. Although I cleaned the screen very carefully and verified under light that there were no pieces of lint etc, I managed to get many tiny dust particles embedded under the film. I believe that the film sets up very electrostatic energy when you peal the backing off to place the film in place. I probably took far too long getting it aligned perfectly (which I managed to do) and this just allowed many more tiny dust particles in the air to find a home on the highly charged film. Problem #4. No matter how careful you are, there will be air bubbles entrapped as you lay down the film. The supplied bubble remover is not the greatest. A credit card as shown in another video works much better. Problem #5. Once you get all of the air bubbles chased to the periphery, what remains are the dust blems. I had 30 or 40 of them. For me, the little strips that came with the package were worthless at removing dust. I would lift up the film, slide the strip underneath, press down on the film gently, lift up the film and remove the strip only to have the dust reappear in the same place. I can't tell if the dust is in the film or on the screen. The tiny strips supplied with my package would only reach about an inch up from the edge of the screen but I had loads of dust everywhere. Another video suggested using scotch tape which reaches to the center of the screen. However, every time I lifted up the film to chase a speck of dust, the film had to be placed down again and smoothed out with a credit card. Finally, after working for a long time with a credit card, I managed to get the dust blems smoothed down to their tiniest sizes. I gave up working on it and peeled off the outer protective cover. My result is OK. I cannot see the dust blems unless the screen is held under a light. I cannot seem them too much when using the tablet. For me, the stylus and my fingers work just as well now as before the protector film So I give it a three.

The Mr. Shield Screen Protector Works Very Well for Me
It's a great product and it's inexpensive. Mr. Shield gives you three of them. 1. My Surface Pro 3 is glare-free at normal viewing angles and screen brightness is only slightly dimmer than without the protector. 2. The pen glides easily and there is very little nib deterioration after three weeks of use: since 1/10/16. N.B., I tend to write with a light-to-medium touch due to longtime experience with a Wacom tablet (I apply the minimum force required, so the pen does most of the work). 3. Fingerprints are hardly noticeable. If they appear, I adjust screen brightness or simply wipe them away (I always make sure my hands are clean before using such an expensive tablet [and no lotions or creams]). I feel fortunate, because I used only one protector during installation. For me, it required a lot of patience and was a slow process, which took about forty-five minutes. No matter how dust free I made the room, dust somehow found a way to get underneath. However, after watching the technique in the Mr. Shield video, I was able to remove every dust particle and it's bubble-free to this day (in the box, there are plenty of dust-removal strips).

Outstanding glare protection.
I was looking for anti glare protection and was quite discouraged by some reviews. While working from home I love to take my Surface outdoors. The only problem was the glare. I couldn't see anything on the screen but my own face and the background. Same experience indoors. This shield exceed my expectations. It came with all the extras and was very easy to install. No bubbles, except the single tiny one I was just too lazy to remove. The shield I applied to my second Surface is completely bubble free. The glare is completely gone. The quality of colors on the screen and sensitivity to touch remained the same. It fits perfectly and sticks to the screen very well. I am very satisfied with the anti-glare feature and overall appearance, and now looking for an anti-glare protection for my Samsung Tab. Ideally from this company. Because it works.

Probably a very good product but unless you have it absolutely precisely in ...
Probably a very good product but unless you have it absolutely precisely in the right spot to maybe less than a .1 (yes point 1) mm of error it will not work with the UAG armor that I purchased. This may need to be installed at a laboratory or with two surgeons, bright lights and a magnifying glass. Don't even think about it touching anywhere near the edge of the Surface pro screen because the UAG armor will touch it and then the seal is broken and all have is screen peel and bubbles. Be very careful when Amazon suggests buying something WITH what you originally want to purchase. Go and look and read ALL the comments before you purchase. This may be a good product with certain kinds of armor but the tolerances are just to close to work with one of the most common armor skins for the SP3. I cannot advise this product for use with armor. Frankly I am hoping Lancelot makes a Holy Grail for the SP3.
