Product is good!!
I wish I can rate it 4.5 star only for one reason, AA batteries that you can use drain so fast and you loose that brightness so quick.... Other than that this is really amazing product!! I see one review said you insert batteries and you cant get them out, well you don't insert all 6 at the time its either 3 D or 3 AA, I did same mistake at beginning until realized its only 3 at the time NOT 6!!

My Dad bought me one of these years ago and it is still working perfectly. It’s a rugged little light but not heavy and it’s got a great handle to carry it around. It’s got different light settings (bright, dim, even an orangy nightlight one) I’ve mostly used it for power outages but I’ve taken it camping and on a few adventures… I’ve also since had kids as well and it’s been bumped, tipped and dropped and still keeps on working. It’s by far my favourite lantern. Also, the batteries seem to last forever so it’s not draining power by any means. I saw this one on Amazon so I grabbed another one to have a couple for power outages (as my kids are afraid of the dark and freak out if they don’t have nightlights in their rooms) so this fits the bill perfectly. I also find it lights up my living room perfectly when the power is out. My Mom loved mine so much, she went and got herself one too lol.

Este producto cumple su funcion, no tiene demasiados lumenes que ofrecer pero si cumple su funcion en la oscuridad absoluta durante un apagon. Cuenta con diversas entradas para diferentes tipos de pilas, por lo que si no cuentas con alguna de ellas podrias usar otro tipo para que si puedas usarlas. Cuenta con varios modos de uso. e impermeable. El asa con el que cuenta te permite dejarlo en un lugar alto, lo cual es muy conveniente. Si lo recomiendo. Saludos.

Awesome lantern if you can get D cells for cheap, otherwise expensive to run often. Be careful with NiMH batteries as their is no voltage cut off and it will over discharge them, my $25ea D cell batteries ($75 worth) have had their capacity greatly reduced by accidentally doing this a few times.
