Are these small enough to work for a very thin ponytail--i.e. 1/4" thick?

I would think so. My pony tail is very thin and it works for me on 2 twists of it. You might could do 3 twists if needed to tighten more. I like these particular ones more because they aren’t so poofy either

I have very thin hair ,are these suitable for me?

I have baby fine hair. These work great. They dont leave a line in my hair like most hair ties do. I will say. I have had them a few months and like them. One of them has broken, which is the only negative I have to say.
