Excellent sturdy product
I acquired this water wand to water my cactus and agave in my greenhouse. The length is perfect to reach to the back of the shelves without being too long. Absolutely no leaks from the hose connection to the head. My favorite feature is the thumb controlled lever which controls the water flow volume, from low to high volume, you have complete control of how much water you want for each plant, which is important when watering succulents in pots, some need a lot and some need low flow, it works great. I really think this is the best single device I have bought for easing my work load in the greenhouse. The multiple outlet head is very good from an easy flow spray which does not disrupt gravel in the pot to a strong direct stream controlled by the volume thumb valve, which is a great combination. Very good sturdy product which should last many years.

Reach where you need!
This is the 2nd one I've bought! The front yard one was so good, had to get one for the back yard! Ease of use with thumb control of water flow & multiple spray dial options makes this wand superior to my previous hand spray. It's those extra inches of reach with spray that makes this superlative!

Graceful and easy to use. Good quality for the price.
Love this wand nozzle for my hose! My second purchase. Graceful water flow. Good seal, no leaking at connector- unlike other brands even with a new washer. The bright color is very fun. The quality appears to be very good- may not crack when dropped. I do appreciate the lever to shut or slow the water flow.

Top Marks on Product Design, Customer Service and Price Point
I am an uncompensated owner of The Relaxed Gardener Watering Wand since July 2016. My wand broke due to my own negligence, but, I was quite pleased with the product -- save the single deficiency noted below. Design Lightweight, fits well in the hand, all moving parts move smoothly as a well constructed product should be. And, with the exception mentioned below, it doesn't leak. The only area where I would pick on it is the "shower" setting -- at any pressure, the water comes out like needles. Unfortunately, "shower" is a very important setting when trying to hand water a large area. So, if this is your need (to water a large area), this may leave you unsatisfied. All other settings work great and it is understandable that engineering the product so every setting is best-in-class is a challenge. For me, the poor performance of the shower setting is where I deduct a star. If they were to improve this I would buy several of these and give them away as gifts to my gardening friends -- the product is that solid. Customer Service Customer service with The Relaxed Gardener was excellent... friendly, fast and fair. So, when the company says "satisfaction guaranteed", I bet they will stand behind that claim. Here was my experience... I left my wand in a freezing environment over the winter with water inside. When I started using it again in the spring it was leaking from multiple places and could not be fixed. I e-mailed customer service and had a response within 24 hours... "If water is left in our wand during freezing temperatures, the water will freeze and expand and thus break the internal workings of the wand causing the leaking that you have experienced." While there is a "satisfaction guarantee", it apparently doesn't cover me being a bonehead and it was my fault for not properly storing the wand during the winter. They even went so far as to research whether there were freezes where I lived -- very thorough effort on their part. Price Point All the reviews that make positive mention of product quality are spot-on. For the price, the product is well designed, very functional (save my experience with the shower setting) and backs it up with excellent customer service. The wand is a "buy" if the shower setting is not something you will frequently use.

Leaks badly at the base really quickly.
It's leaking like crazy. I want it to work so badly because it feels just right in your hand and when your are watering plants...but the leaks are awful.

Best wand ever!
Fantastic watering wand! This wand is so sturdy yet lightweight. The different spray options are easily dialed. Easily connects to your garden hose and makes watering plants/flowers/shrubs a breeze due to its length and spray options. Would definitely buy again : )

Purchased again!
This is a repurchase. The first one lasted for many years before I wanted a new one. It still worked, but the lettering on the pattern selector ring wore out. I got tired of pattern guesswork. I like the way the shutoff lever works and the material is very comfortable to hold. I also like the 15" length. It fits all my needs.

It's Raining Sprinkles of LOVE
Ok, my goodness.... I don't know what kind of "dust" they fill their box with that one inhales when it's opened but I gotta say I'm jumping on this bandwagon. The thing works perfectly! Love the lever on the handle to control the volume of water, sprayer's choice patterns is more than I need but nice to have. Use it primarily for water plants so the "spray" part of it works perfectly and as you can control the amount of water, you don't risk damaging your plants with something too forceful, or having your spray become a spittle when you back off the water flow. They send you an email about how this was developed etc, etc, etc, and warranting a.pdf to be written about using it: let me tell you, it's great but not worthy of any novel or .pdf. The things dead simple to use and if you're in need of a .pdf to explain it all to you...are you're sure you're capable of actually handling a garden hose? Great product, I've drank the Kool-Aid. Never been happier watering my garden, naked! UPDATE: Still in love with this thing, and my tan!....

I've tried many big brand and non-name brand hand held watering wands and this one ended up being the best in terms of being nice to hold and also connects well with my hose (flexzilla garden hose). only thing I wish was the want was a bit longer so I can reach into farther areas in my garden bed however, I was able to compensate by adjusting the setting on the spray head and be able to project the water to reach my plants without harming them.

Very solid quality. Bought this to replace a cheap "wand" style that broke in a matter of months and I am very impressed with the quality! If this thing had anymore pressure/reach I would consider it a fire hose, the pressure is easily regulated and the shower mode(the reason I purchased) can be as gentle as needed for small seedlings. Dont waste your money on cheap wands, spend a little extra and have piece of mind that it will last a while. Also a bonus it has a lifetime warranty!

Watering flower beds is easy with this compact unit.

It's pretty good. I'm deducting a star for the craptastic rigid washer it came with which caused it to leak out of the box. I used it for one full summer leaking at the connection to the hose until I finally bought flexible silicon washers at Lee Valley which fixed the leak issue for good.

The watering wand worked great last summer. But I recently discovered that the collar of the wand has split, causing it to leak and making it no longer functional without spraying everywhere – see photo and video. As this is an expensive and presumably good quality watering wand and as I was only able to use it for five months, I contacted the seller and explained the problem. As I bought the watering wand a year ago, and the warranty is only good for 90 days, I was told that they could not help me. Although I know that my request falls outside the warranty period, I think that if the seller truly believed in the quality of their product and had a genuine commitment to customer service – especially as I only used the watering wand for five months – they would have stepped up and replaced it. I am very disappointed in both the quality of the product especially considering the cost, and with their lack of customer service. An outstanding business reputation is based on quality products and exceeding customer expectations, neither of which apply in this situation.
