These use in-wall wiring, so must be installed by an electrician. I bought an LED dimmer switch (about $33) at Lowe's and installed that myself in an existing switch box. Works perfectly. These add a nice, soft, indirect light to any room and look just like the image in the add. Very nice.

Theses lights are so thin and compact! I absolutely love them for the stairwell. The metal housing gives me peace of mind that there won’t be shattered glass all over the steps when someone bumps into one. They are very bright at the highest setting. Great purchase! I’m buying another set for the basement stairwell.

Needed a scone that did not stick out for far as I was gonna be placing a tv in front of it. This light is easy enough to install. Didn't come with instructions and the wires are not colored the same but a quick youtube video helped.

Picture does it no justice the light works awesome and our hallway lights up and looks great on the wall. Take the picture at night so it doesn’t look very good but it’s a great light.

This product is not made for the American market as the wires are colored for China (red/blue/yellow) not for the U.S. Instead of the usual bolts to hold the bracket in place, these lights contained screws which, aside from not adhering to code, were also too short and thus never fully tightened. The wire nuts were also too small for my installation. I used my own bolts and wire nuts that I had saved from other light installs. I am unsure if I was sent the correct item, as the product description clearly says "dimmable" but since the lights flicker when dimmed, they are NOT dimmable by definition. I now need to uninstall these lights to return them and find something that is specifically made to be dimmable. Thumbs down to Amazon for selling this product. NOT recommended.

The lights look great and the dimmer works well from the wall switch. The bad is that they have short Chinese spec wires - the hot is a reddish brown, and the neutral is blue. They are also very small, so difficult to secure in a wire nut (not included). I would up stripping the wires to a 1/2" and twisting them around the copper house wires to secure them.

This is a fantastic light. First it is metal vs cheap plastic that will yellow over time. It was used to replace a dingy nightlight. Lighting from both top and bottom it provides a nice glow at night in a sunroom. Price is very reasonable. Installation was a snap! Strong work on behalf of the manufacturer.

About 5 months after installation this light just stopped working, well beyond Amazon's 30 day 'return window'. :(
