Okay for kids, but not high quality pencils for artwork.

Bought them for my daughter. Everything she needed in a starter kit.

This happens to be a really nice pencil set. In it you get five different types of pencils. There are twelve regular color pencils and twelve metallic color pencils. You have charcoal and drawing pencils and last but not least the watercolor paint pencils. They come in a nice case to keep them in place and it is metal not cheap plastic. This is a real good quality kit. I really liked the metallic pencils as they color really nice and have colors that aren't in most color pencil sets. I used the drawing pencils to draw some of my pictures and used the watercolor pencils for two of my drawings. After you draw and color the picture with the watercolor pencils you take the paintbrush that is included and dip it in water and go over the pencil and it turns to paint. It is really neat. All of the pencils in the kit seem to erase with no problem but I didn’t try erasing the charcoal pencils so not sure about those. You get a nice selection of colors between the three different sets of pencils. The only thing I did not like about this kit is that the pencils are not the easiest to get in and out of the plastic divider they are in which is not a major issue as the pencils are really awesome. I received this product at a discount in exchange for my honest and unbiased opinion of this product.

What a steal! I got these in the mail, I was first impressed with the tin that these beautiful pencils come in. I couldn't wait to draw something so I sat right down and drew up a quick picture. (I should have paid attention to the paper I used), As I played with the water color pencils which are smooth and vibrant but my paper did''t like the water so it could have look so much better! I used every type of pencil, as there are 5 styles to choose from and they are nicely labeled in the box. I started with the drawing pencils, then moved on to the colored Artist pencil, water color and metallic color finishing up with the charcoal. I will show a pic of my unfinished picture. I am going to redo it on better Paper! I did receive this pencil set at a discounted rate to give my honest opinion of which I have done!

This is a wonderful starter set I would like to point out te reason I say starter kit, though there are many verities of pencils there are not a wide array of color variations within each shade, because there are only 12 of each type.1/5th of the set consists of the same charcoal pincils which are great for drawing.The charcoal pincils blend well and smear for shading.The water colored pencils come with a brush for painting. You can draw the image you want and simply blend out with water.Over all the quality is great to colors are smooth and it's a great traveling case for art class.I received this set with a promotional discount, however my reviews remain honest and unbiased regardless of the price I pay.
