Let me first just say that the price was right for this beautiful chandelier. I'm no electrician and I assembled and installed this mostly by meself.The package was damaged when it arrived and my wife signed for it as the DHL driver quietly concealed the damage by partially blocking the package and keeping the damage to the side facing away from my wife.When I got home and saw the big gouge in the box I expected to see lots of broken pieces inside. I was however surprised to find that only two of the crystals were broken. There were replacement crystals included that I was able to install for a complete undamaged fixture.I was surprised at how well the pieces were packaged in a way that they all fit safe and snug.The directions are a joke. The video on amazon is very helpfull to figure out what to do to assemble this. I read a lot of the reviews before the purchase and expected a nightmare assembling this. I was pleased that it was not really that difficult. I would suggest getting somebody to help. I put it together alone and was wishing I had a third hand several times. And for those of you who complained about the assembly and pulled stars because it was hard....give me a break. You saw the picture before you baught it. Its not a simple light fixture. Did you think it would come on a silver platter assembled and ready to install?The wires on the light are blue and brown. The blue is neutral and the brown is hot. This is typical for wiring coming from china. The great thing was that the wire was really long which was really nice when installing it. I was able to put the chandelier on the very top of a step laddar and the wire reached the 10 foot ceiling to attach to the house wires. Then the whole length coiled up nicely into the part that attaches to the mounting plat at the junction box as I lifted the chandelier to the ceiling. Screw on a couple fenials and JENGA its installed. I gave it 4 stars because the "directions" or lack thereof suck.Its a beautiful chandelier. I love it.

Mediocre at best. Not well designed, not well packaged, not well constructed. I vacillated on whether to keep it or not but decided to keep it because I do like the way it looks. Nothing is tight, nothing was easy, and even what could have been assembled at the factory what is not. The branches will only allow you to tighten them slightly before they start unscrewing from the other side. I still think it’s beautiful and because there’s no moving parts once in place, it should be OK.

It nice once assembled, but the is a lot of assembly required because it is packed to fit in a small box.You have to assemble every branch to the main body, and you have to wire every light socket to the main wire. This is something that would have been better for the manufacturer to do. so that it would be easier for someone who doesn't have electrical wiring experience. I can see why many complain about assembly and install difficulty.But that's probably how they kept the cost down

Put LED lights in it because I was afraid it wouldn't be bright enough... However it is plenty bright. We have gotten lots of compliments on this light fixture and I couldn't be happier!
