Cheaply taking some strain off my cell phone
I am the worst kind of shopper. I was looking for gift ideas for someone else, and ended up seeing this vizio "tablet" (it's basically a remote). It's a little too flimsy for the person I was shopping for but it seemed like a bargain to me so I picked it up. And it brings a lot to the table!Honestly the biggest positive for this tablet is the wireless charging stand. Because of that it's replaced my phone as my alarm in the morning and it looks a lot better. It's also good to have an emergency tablet if a roku remote disappears, b/c even though I don't actually have a vizio tv to use this as intended, I can still install other apps on it and use it that way. All my streaming apps look good, and I can bluetooth it to speakers around the house for music too. It's been a super-functional piece of tech to have around lately. I hope it lasts a while. There are some drawbacks. There's no camera, and it's disorienting at times just b/c every other tablet or mobile device has one. I was hoping Google Fi would work on it but no. But the memory is essentially full already with all the streaming apps on it with no room for much else. And it definitely feels like something that costs less than 50 bucks. The bottom flexes if you carry it wrong but I'm trying to take it easy on it. For $40 it was definitely worth the purchase.

Cannot add SD card
While it has "8GB" of memory, there are only 5GB you can use. It's amazing how quickly that's used up with setting up email and downloading a few apps. Deleting the Vizio app might help, and I still have the original remote. It has Bluetooth. Maybe there's a BT storage device. Then again, maybe not every device has to be a micro-laptop. I do like the size and it's lightweight and fast.

Counterfeit Item
Be careful, I tried to register this product and received a message saying "Serial Number Not Recognized." I contacted VIZIO who informed me that the product has not been produced since 2015 and the serial number was for a television, not a tablet. This is a counterfeit product.

Small 6 inch tablet with no sd card support.
This product is a small 6 inch tablet with no sd card support. Has a great 16:9 screen and side speakers with pleasant button placement. It runs android 6. Micro USB with headphone jack. Best feature is the wireless charging ability that most tablets lack. It comes with a wireless charging stand that is super premium feeling. All and all a great purchase. The entire purpose of the device is moot. Coincidence makes this premium device cheap. Only get for streaming videos, music, and reading. No cases exist for the device so be careful with it.

Low battery life and not 8G
Easy setup and sync to tv. Battery life will say it has 16 hours left but that really means 2 hours if you're using it. It's not 8G. Mine had 4.15G and was almost all used after adding 3 apps.
