The book is great and full of good information but the cd is broke. The cd was why I bought a new book instead of used.

Helpful for a college student leaning about Preschooler with Special Needs
It is a good read and book to learn about Preschoolers with Special Needs. However, the book did not come to me in the best condition: Pages highlighted and the book is damaged.

This Book is a "Goldmine!" The Preschool teacher and myself are sharing the book and it is so full of ideas! Some we are ready knew but it was a great refresher. The book will definitely get used with our special needs students this year.

Very Useful Book!
I have been teaching in an inclusion classroom for three years and wish I had this book from the start! It is very easy to read and follow. They give you step by step directions for problem solving issues that may arise in the classroom, lots of ideas for solutions to those issues, super useful forms that are practical and make sense! I am very pleased with this book and recommend it to any early childhood teacher that works with special needs students.

A must have inclusive education resource
An easy to follow, highly usable text for inclusive education without being precious toward children with special needs. It offers simple solutions and strategies to situations that can sometimes seem overwhelming. Usable as an international text, highly adaptable to any curriculum, making it ones own.

インクルーシブ環境での幼児への支援を、(下の方から)、「質の高い保育」「カリキュラムの修正・調整」「目標の埋め込み」「いわゆる?専門的介入・指導」の4ブロックによる一目瞭然な「積み木(Building Blocks)」の形から理解し、実践につなげていく包括的アプローチ。インクルーシブな環境における支援、または個別の指導計画の展開などに対して、理論的根拠・説明が十分でない状況にあっては、方法論としても理論としてもとても参考になる。「積み木」による説明は、現場の保育士・幼稚園教諭も理解しやすい。また巡回等を行う専門家側にとっても、遊びや生活を中心とした特有のカリキュラムを尊重した、個別−学校/クラス規模介入の展開がイメージしやすそう。
