It's just a regular, everyday, normal mother coffee.
Not the best out there, I could complaint it's over roasted, but it tastes ok.It's the selection of the commercialisable beans, not the worsts but the plausible, the over roast means it should be fine for brewing even espresso if you could control the temperature (91-92c). For a <100£ machine it'll be a dark crema coffee.

Good coffee
This was a Christmas present for our daughter who, ironically, went to Guatemala for Christmas! Although they brought some coffee from their trip, this additional supply will prolong their enjoyment.

dark roast bitter
This coffee was listed as medium roast. However it is dark roast, oil and very bitter. Fine if you like Italian style dark roast bitter espresso. If not then not great coffee.

This is a super smooth Med
This has been reported as being a Dark Roast. That's not true. This is a super smooth Med. Roast. It is an oilier style coffee though. The coffee is low on the acid side and shouldn't give you any problems if you have acid reflux, or any digestive issues. Too bad this isn't in the stores anymore.Simply a wonderful Coffee IMO!!!

Dark roast
Having received a sample of Guatemalan beans for Christmas and really liking the coffee, I was looking forward to this product when my order arrived. Unfortunately, rather than the medium roast I expected, Kirkland decided to dark roast these beans, which results in a lot of the delightful and subtle flavors to be overpowered. Too bad, I'll just have to keep looking for that flavor somewhere else.
